i think maybe yes. if we bring a player down from 80 to 65, then one in the lower leagues who is 65 is gunna as fast...maybe we only subtract -10 for lower leagues and second divisions? someone should edit at last the starting squad of a lower league side and try it against a premiership team, just test it out.

i think every team should be edited, for us who like it at this pace. as it was mentioned before, players from south america are transferred, plus scouted players...those we can't do nothing about.

as iīve said earlier if we have the manpower editing all leagues is doable in reasonable time.

I think we can get it done, gonna start on the Prem after I eat , I actually had most of it done, before I stupidly decided that I was not gonna do it after it was to time consuming. So I deleted it all lalalala. But I will start on the Prem and finish Serie A. But somebody will have to show me how to put the file online in a filesharing place

just remember you have to edit the file we've been passing around. i just finished serie a and did the two first teams in la liga. if you want, continue la liga, do as much as you can.

update squad files: finished serie a and started on spain, but only edited the first two teams.

PS3.zip (mediafire). remember bundesliga is done.

take it from your usb, put it in the comp, archive it, or convert it into a zip file. i don't use windows, so i don't know what's the name of the software for it. i think it's "winrar"...or winzip? and i think it's free, too. maybe there's one already included in windows?

to upload it, i use mediafire.com, but you can also use megaupload or megashare. just upload the zipped file, follow the instructions, you'll manage. then get the link and pass it on.

Thank God, somebody finished Serie A .

Ok do you guys think I should do every player in the Prem or just stop at a certain number. For Example. like players who are only 65 overall and above because the EPL teams, some of them have so many damn players.

i think every player should be done...then they're gunna be even. the fast player still need to be faster.

do the prem if you like, or continue la liga. whatever you want, really. btw, starting from the bottom of the list makes it a bit faster.

i posted the updated squad file a couple of posts back. yeah, we're editing them to make them slower...none of us have the time to go through every player, thats why we're passing the squad file around. and no, it's not done...only two leagues done so far.

if you wanna help, just tell us which league or teams you'd like to do. look back on thread, someone posted how to copy the file and load it in your game.

Really AWESOME work to the editors so far But doing mostly all Leagues will take for ever being just 2. I see if I can help you out some, if I really just understand how to get this file to continue on without messing up my own saving files.. We need alot more to help us out completing this to.. Damn I'm using more time editing the game, and fixing Tactics for CPU to get this game as it should have been in the first place, barely got to play as much as I wished. But hopefully this want take to long, so we can play, and enjoy this, and know we did this as a team together to make Fifa 09 even better

Nice Sorry if the question looked stupid, but I messed up my saving files last week, and dont wanne do it again.. What leagues your not started on yet? I made Squad File name for my Edited Squads, can I just overwrite with this one then, and when It's totally done I can just use that one We for sure need alot of others to help us out to. So how I implent the file to my Fifa. Downloaded the file, and put it on and USB Device, plugging USB in PS3, and copying Fie. But where in my Fifa I need to copy it to? It's only 1 file going around we are editing right, not 2 or 3 ore more?

you need to have 1 file from your ps3 in the usb and then overwrite it with mine...read here...

  1. Load fifa 09 on your ps3 and create and save a new squad file. You can use your main one too but you will be overwriting it so it's better to create a new one.
  2. Quit the game to go back to the ps3 dashboard. Go up to "Saved Data Utility" and find the squad file you just created. Make sure you have your usb drive plugged in and hit triangle, select "Copy", and select your usb drive as the destination. After it copies, remove your usb drive and then hit triangle, select "Delete" to remove the squad file from the ps3.
  3. Plug the usb drive into your computer and open it up. Go to the PS3 folder and then the SAVEDATA folder under that and you should see a folder starting with "BL". If you have a euro game it will be something like BLES003140102 or if you have a us game it will be something like BLUS301760100. If you don't have this you didn't copy it right.
  4. Open that folder and you should find 5 files inside named ICON0.PNG, PARAM.PFD, PARAM.SFO, PIC1.PNG, and SYS-DATA. If you downloaded the file Renatus28 posted you should also have his BL folder with the same 5 files. Take the SYS-DATA file only from his folder and overwrite your own SYS-DATA file. Don't do anything with any of the other files.
  5. Plug the usb drive back into the PS3 and go back to "Saved Data Utility" and select the USB Device. Find the squad file and hit triangle then copy to copy it back to the PS3. If you didn't already delete the PS3 copy back in step 2 it might prompt you to overwrite.
  6. Now you should be able to start up the game, go to load Squads, and you should see the "squads edited" file from Renatus28. Load it, go to edit player, then go to Serie A/Milan. If Kaka has a rating of 89 then it worked.

Damn that was more complicated and more to do then I hoped for, I will look at it later, and see if I can get it to work. Thanks for the guide
