Fifa 09 Crashing on Xbox 360

Hi, just wondering if any 1 can help, i have had FIFA 09 since release and have had no problems with it, but just recently it has started crashing everytime i load it into my 360. It sometimes crashes on the Ronaldinho loading screen, in the arena and sometimes it wont even start. I have checked my disk for scratches and i have none watsoever. I cleared my HD Cache to see if that would make a difference, but no avail. Now whenever i load the game i get asked to download an update and then it just crashes instantly. Has anyone else had any of these problems and if so is it possible to fix, cheers. Any mods/admins wish to help, would be appreciated.

I think everyone has this problems. Try clearing the cache and see if that helps

Or restarting but allot seem to be having this problem

just started doing this now for me too, i was playing fine 1 hour ago but now it wont even get past the arena

sounds like the 360 is on its **** with fifa 09, glad i got this one on ps3

doesnt sound good then........... again, any mods wish to help, surely u should have some answers or will u and EA ignore us as usual.....

I have cleared my hard drives caches and therefore all updates have been deleted along with it, so when i put fifa 09 into my 360 it asked me to download the update, but now i get a message saying 'unable to download update' so now i well and truley fu****

I was just to start a Tread like this, FTW is this man but I had the same problem on the demo and now 2 with the game. Just wait a lil bit long it will start.

I Just figured it out while doing this treath

Maybe EA just gave us an update relax everyone.

The servers have gone down again so its definitely an ea problem every other game of mine is fine.

same thing happening here

just tried it 4 times, twice crashed on the Ronaldinho menu and twice as soon as I get the menu loaded... before that I was in arena and my START button wouldnt load the menu..

weird

i think its something to do with EA servers.. try loading it NOt signed in to XBOX live.. i have a suspicion it will work

I took my xbox back and got a brand spanking 2008 model...so far so good. But I was never convinced it was the hardware because all my other games (apart from NHL 09 FUNNILY ENOUGH) worked fine!
If you google 'NHL 09 disc unreadable' you will see similar problems

Game is either crashing on the title screen or not loading from servers on arena. Gotta love owning a 360 eh boys. -_-

This might not be the same but:
my xbox was also jamming up, but i found on the PES blog that if you delete the PES demo from the memory unit, even if it is still downloading and then turn the xbox off and then back on and it should be fine, it worked on mine.

yeah probably will work mate, but like many people here i want to play online not offline, ea need to pull there fingers out.....
