Fifa 09 Crashing on Xbox 360 - Page 4

mine only crashes on 2 player mode. Otherwise it is fine. I get to the kick off and as soon as the second player touches a command on the controller, bang it freezes. Its not the console or the HDD, so either EA have released dodgy disks or they are in the process of releasing an update. Really annoying!!!

I think its xbox live, remember before the update at christmas when it was crashing people's consoles.

me too m8, i downloaded the demo from playstation store and that did the same, thought the full game would be ok, the problem i am having is when im playing the game, it freezes occassionally which is very annoying and very rarely completely crashes, i also have a problem with burnout paradise this is also a ea game, never had any problems b4 it started updating the game.

I dont use xbox live and it still messes up.

I reccomend returning your cd's and get a new one!

same thing happened to me.
i fixed it by disconnecting my xbox from internet connection by pullin out the ethernet cable (if u have wireless adapter just pull it out). loaded fifa and it loaded up and i could play a game. while i was in the arena i just plugged in my ethernet cable again and signed into xbox live and then it all worked, i could play online and everything. havent had a problem since. hope it helps

Mine has froze on half time replays or full time replays :@

Rather annoying as it happened to me online last night and it was a really good game, and froze at half time of extra time

so i had to turn off 360 and then more then likely get negative feedback.

is it just the xbox360 games freezing, or is it ps3 aswell?

I really can't understand why there isn't a proper fix for this yet? Do EA even look at these forums?

It was doing it in 3 player for me, then 2 player. It;s a pain in the lalalalala because I have to take my hard drive off to play 2/3/4 player now, and that means none of my stats of controller settings etc are saved.

2 of my friends are also having this issue

After create an ava on EAFW and link my gamertag to ea account, it takes forever to log in fifa 09. It's just freeze by the time I see Ronaldinho's face ^^. weird

My issue is definitely not the CD as it;s a perfect disc. I've also tried my friends disc that isn't having the problem and it does the same.

I'm 100% sure that it is something to do with the profiles and multiplayer settings because when you log out of the lead profile it doesn't freeze.

I gave up in the end, playing PES instead. Initially I didn't think is was as good as FIFA but at least it works. Now I've really got into it not sure whether i need to find a solution for this bug

Yeah the PES 09 demo did starnge things to my xboxand even a week after I dwonloaded and realised it was poo, I got the RROD!!!! It's as if my xbox heard me say PES 09 was garbage.

Hey guys, all the way from HK!

Anyway my dad and I were trying to play a quick match and it gets to the arena and as soon as we move the player it crashed...

Be a Pro mode is fine my players are all there and it is really weird, anything to do with the 360, mine is an Elite and it is only half a year old, and all my other games are fine, so just a Fifa 09 problem?

BTW my problem is me offline I am sign in on Live but actually not link to the net...

Ah I hate chavs, go steal a car or something will ya..

I had this problem the day after christmas, I'd turn on fifa and would freeze evertime on the Dinho screen. I cleared the cache and downloaded the updates and it worked perfect.

right there is one way i know how to resolve this problem. I had the same problem but now that if done what if done it works properly. On the dashboard go to memory and go on fifa 09. when on it delete everything you have for it on your harddrive. i know its a bummmer you lose everything but at least it works. you still keep your achievments though. Just do this and it should work properly.
