Keep this thread only for game/network bugs and feature requests! I know bugs and missed oppertunities suck, but its better to stay constructive. Maybe its a good idea to specify the version (PS3/360) you play when you add a request. I hope you guys can offer some constructive comments: there is no place for flamewars here: EA devs have no use for those. This topic is meant to be a reference the developers can use when working on future patches. Try to be as descriptive as possible when describing a bug (when it happened, what you were doing when it happened, what matches (online?) you were playing, how often it has happened, can you reliably recreate it, etc) posting things like pictures or a video of the bug would also be particularly helpful. Remember, everyone here wants to make this game as good as possible vaguely describing a bug and leaving isn't helping anyone.

Add menu option to turn off cut scenes during the match.

An menu option to turn off all those cutscenes (i.e. before a pentalty kick / corner, keeper lining up the wall prior to a free kick). At first they look fun, but now it just bugs me that you cannot skip (turn) them (off).

I already seen the keeper lining up a wall for a free kick many times, while it was taken from completely the other side as the cutscene suggested - took away the realism.

We've all seen this, no need for further specification: happens all the time. Looks like a sync-dancing contest... brrr.

Same as with the cutscenes: it was fun for a while, but it bugs me already and I'm not gonna remember all those combos - useless IMO.

Fix the fact that all goalkeepers punt with there right foot even if there left footed.

Put the option to assign kit numbers during career manager mode back in. Why was this taken out.

Good ones, but please put them inside a code field (use the "#" in the editor). Its better to track back.

Keepers only seem to punt their right foot, even when they are left. Should be simple to fix.

Desperate for a speed control dial or slider that will enable us to set the speed we like within the slow normal and fast settings can't be too dificult even with my limited knowledge of coding

Please fix the advantage rule. The referee always pulls it back for a free kick even if you are 1 on 1 or sometimes even if you have scored.

The pitch and players are not impressive at distance on PS3, anyway of improving it.

PS how do you get a code box? Can't find the option anywhere.

We don't know this, but if EA never does anything with this info, we know enough...

Althoug I don't question that you percieve lag, you should specify better when you found it lag in 1Vs1. Did you play vs someone close to you or across half the world? All my close friends play lag free with me...

thanks for explaining, but really, i don't think EA care though, they will add what they want, not we want
if any of the requests in this thread are carried out its because they would have done it anyway, not cos we asked them
for example seeing as their as their is already a free agent menu it would not be surprising if they patch it with free agent players including , not cos i requested they add ronaldo

Thats why I asked in a different thread if anyone remembers when (and if) EA offered patches for FIFA 08. I didn't buy the game so I don't know.

I'm sure EA will offer support for their product since in the dev interviews they said they wanted FIFA 09 to be the best football game there is. They didn't manage to exclude these bugs and they need the community for this. This is somethins Konami does too, so I doubt EA doesn't use this info...

BAP mode, team management problems/crashes

In BAP:seasons, with QPR, my RB/RW/CM have changed to GK, with No Name, -143736 ratings, and #28. When i start a match they go back to how they were, until the match ends when it all goes wrong again. with the squads changing outside of BAP, its happening there too.

it also crashes whenever i go into the 'player roles' option in BAP or outside, but only with QPR, so its obviously related to BAP:seasons.

Please add these things to fifa 09 for xbox 360/ps3 through an online update if possible.

1. In manager mode you can't change the shirt number of players in your squad. You could do this in fifa 08 - please add this.

2. In manager mode please make it possible to offer a player for a another player in the transfer market or a player plus money for another player.

3.There needs to be a bigger difference of speed between players. For example a fast player such as Theo Walcott cant get away from a slow defender and this is if he has the ball and if he is chasing a loose ball/through ball.

the main problem is still that the players stop running for the ball and run either sidewards or backwards for the last few yards its really annoying when your through on goal or trying to clear the ball in your box....please sort it! thnx

Fix the uploading of replays where some users get a message that the website is unavailable.

I just doesn't work for me and I'm 100% connected with my PS3 through a DMZ. Website is available on the net so it looks like the port is blocked on some regions.

Fix the ergonomics for segmentating the part of the replay you want to upload.

I never seem to get exactly the part I want to upload since the means of putting the marker is very, well, unergonomic. Its not precise and its a big hassle to mark the part you want to upload.

Really, it take like 5 minutes to start a game cause some players seem to take a shower while entering the room and never choose sides nor 'ready' themselves. I want to be able to kick those players so others can come in and take their place. Also, during matches I see players doing nothing or (worse) playing like a clown (making own goals, trolling around the field). I want to be able to kick those players.

Its frustrating to wait so long to play, and then see half of the team leave. Let other players enter the match.
