Another annoying feature is the RED CARD bug

Players getting sent off after play is stopped 10 mins later this is just stupid

As already mentioned, this isn't a bug, mate. In the rules of football it is possible, if there's an advantage. Just don't see it much in real life.

NOTE - we're not necessarily going to be able to release a 'patch' for all of these things - but we're looking into it at the moment.

disappointed that there not looking into manual passing being so heavy even when just tapping the pass button

its not as important as the kit numbers thats why there is a massive partision for kit numbers and not for the weather but i most say that i would like that in MM but the kit no. is twice as important

look, weather CAN be changed ... but through difficulty.

whereas numbers cannot.

I have to say as an Arsenal Fan I dont mind number 2 on any midfielders, as I have DIABY no 2!!! who is a mid and Gallas no 10!!! but when I buy a striker, i.e. Bojan, I am SO annoyed that he is number 2, that is why I always buy

1st - Striker
2nd - Striker
3rd - Midfielder
4th - Defensive mid
5th - Defender.

I never buy strikers last, always first!

Hi David got told to post this here.

Very disappointed especially now we're in next gen how when we upgrade our stadium in MM its still the tin pot shed you started with. £40,000,000 Upgrade and it looks identical. In 05 it used to get better then it stopped? Now we're on next gen surely you should get an updated stadium? How hard can it be to program that little piece of information? Not hard at all considering in kick off and all multiplayer modes you can make any stadium your home!

PS. Give CarlisleU their shirt back!!!

Theres nothing wrong with the ball physics, they are the best and most realistic i have seen in a football game imo.

Look at the modern game - Fifa's ball physics replicates this well. The only thing that is a bit off is the curl but thats not really a big issue.

With all due respect but this: Bad defending/attacking where the guy turns sideways. should be your nr1 priority and SHOULD be fixed, no excuses!. If this is fixed the game will have a more finished feel. All the other things should be nr 2 or not even mentioned here at this moment.

more important things first. If it get's through i might even consider buying the game again

No they are not. But they are not that big of a deal. Doesn't ruin the game experience for me

Hi guys first of all I want to congratulate EA on a fantastic game - it's because of this great game I've left competing in official PES offline events, and am part of a new team headed by Matt Barr who will be putting official fifa09 offline events around the country (more news to follow).

what do I like about this game? everything totally blew me away.
a lot of the improvements that I was thinking about has already been covered in this thread.

so well done guys your work is appreciated and David Rutter I've added you to my contacts.

what I'd like to see in the future - staduim builder build your own staduim (we've all got hard disks right??)

David, like other players in this forum, I have a problem with Fifa 09.
I can't play 1 vs 1 offline, because when the match starts the game freeze. Always!
It's not DVD. With an other DVD same problem.
I solve the problem disconneting from my profile. If I disconnect from my profile, I play 1 vs 1 offline, but if I connect to my profile, during the match, the game freeze.
How can I sole the problem?

i think the sidesteping and the advantage rule are the main things to sorted out as they affect the gameplay

you really need to make fiwc matches count for the normal ladder, too, or else u would ruin both ladders as they wouldnt be as valid as otherwise. cause as it is now, the normal ladder loses some players, while many of the good players will still stay with the normal ladder, cause they already played so much for it..

That really isn't stupid more times than I care to remember online in 08 people would take out any supporting runners leaving me nowhere to go except straight into a defender with absolutely no punishment.

Good job on the cards this term I still never hardly get any and if I do its never for an off the ball usually a mis timed.

Trophies for PS3 David ? also PLEASE fix the weather problem I played through a full scottish season and it was day and sunny everytime, which really isnt right in Scotland it should be rainy every week hahaha, and the sideways thing is a nuisance please patch to fix and include these things, oh and changing player numbers in and out of MM
