And stop taking things away pointlessly in future releases!!! It's cool that you add stuff, but please don't take away or limit our play!!!

I'm suggesting updates to stuff probably mentioned, but I'm asking for stuff that I think EVERYONE would appreciate, not only a minority.

-Edit kit numbers In Manager Mode
-In Arena, be able to practice free kicks with a wall, and also be able to add 4 - 5 players (using the d-pad) to practise crosses, corners, and passes and such
-Be able to have friends go on the CPU side in tournament matches, (1 v 3, 2 v 2, etc)
-Fix the general bugs (crabwalking, odd reff decisions)

I agree in these things. EA you REALLY have to upload a patch to fic that stupid crabwalking! Its RUINING the beautiful game! Some times when I make a perfect through pass from my midfield to the attacker its ruined cause of that stupid bugg so my attacker doesnt reach it! EA, FIX THIS!

I have read most of the posts in this thread, and agree on the bugs mentioned. One thing that i don't remember reading is the fatigue-levels in Manager-mode. I used to play Pro Evo-Soccer up until FIFA09 and one way Master-league really excells on Manager-mode is the way you need to balance your squad keeping players fresh by benching them for the odd game or two. Now i play MM with Wallsall, have level 5 fitness and i don't ever need to make players rest. I would really like it if players fatigue levels were more influenced by how many games they played in a row.
Now I'm no programmer, but i think it could be easily altered by changing a few parameters - its no fun only needing to have 14 players in your squad.

Thanks for a good game that could be great if especially gameplay-bugs were eradicated.

You should of seen it on Fifa 08...

yeah but i know i wouldn't of borght my copy if i knew MM was so bad i can't even enjoy the game you can't defend that m8

David, please take a minute or two and read my comment. thank you.

First, let me congratulate you for the amazing fifa 09 game. it is a real improvement. please be kind to read my question to you. i would appreciate your sincere and quick response.

We are a group of 4 fifa players from israel, that play the game since fifa 2006 and stayed loyal all the way. we just bought the new fifa 09 and a PS3 system and got ready to start a tournament, like we have done in fifa 06, 07 and 08.
in our tournaments - we create a new tournament with "tournament mode" (group and knock-out), each player picks a team and then each game of the player picked team, the other three players play against him, as the cpu team. this way, all of us plays all tournament long, and it is very exciting and long.

i will make an example so you can understand it fully :

lets say we make a group and knock out tourney. we choose 32 teams and each one of us picks his team. i pick AC Milan. in my group stage i got PSV Eindhoven, Villareal and Stutgart. my first game is against PSV Eindhoven (which is a not selected by a player). all the other three dont have to see me play against the CPU, the try to win me themselvs and try to make me not pass the group stage. everyone plays all games of the tourney!

each player from the four has his own team, and all other players play against him each and every game, trying to win him on his try to win the cup.

and...when it comes to a players team against a players team in the quarter final, semi final or final... imagine how big this game becomes. a total prestigious football match, and then it is a pleasure for the others to sit down and watch this head to head game.
dont you think this is a great way to play the game with friends?

i am shocked and amazed to see that this option is not available anymore. when we wanted to start a game (1 player against 3 players) after creating a tournament, we could only be on the same side (the player picked team) and not play 3 on 1 as we were used and loved to do.

is there any way to change this thing? am i missing something? please help us!
WE DONT WANT TO MOVE TO PES! WE WANT TO STAY LOYAL TO THE GAME WE LOVE SO MUCH!

please help us with this issue. we want to continue enjoying fifa games, but with this issue there is no way we can play it anymore.

we will be so thankful if you fix this with a patch we could install. please be kind to help 4 loyal costumers who feels very bad now because of this.

Thats strange, I'm always having to change my squad (Although I think my Fitness Coach thing is only at 3/10) because of fitness levels, many of my players start a game in the red fitness level, very annyonig and unrealistic.

I like FIFA 09.
I like the manager mode layout.
I like custom team tactics.

BUTBUTBUTUBUTBUT!!!!

custom team tactics are very annoying to change if you dont know what will happen when you change them, eg. I NEED A TEAM CHEMISTRY to tell me whether I should implement different tactics or at least change captain.

Manager mode needs to be improved. I woulnd't have minded at all had there been night matches or weather changes as you promised but taking out team kit numbers editing is a MUST for mm!

The idea of Be a Pro Seasons is good, but it is too easy and passes by too quickly. You should make it harder to break through and should make it 15 seasons. Also make sure that your player can't reach 99 overall unless they get a perfect rating each game. I hate how everyone manages to reach RIDICULOUS ratings at their peak which is just STUPID. there are only 3/4 players in the world right now worthy of that rating. (90+).

the fact that the refs get some decisions wrong is good. but should not happen for clear goalscoring opportunites. i.e. through on goal, foul called back. Also that thing where it is a blatent corner but Martin Tyler says "they are asking for a corner but the ref says goal kick" thing is good but should not happen for BLATENT corners. e.g. my player kicks a cross in the box and the opposing player gets a foot in the way and it goes straight past the bi-line!!!!

FIFA 09 IS TOTALLY CHANGED, IT HAS NOT ANY CONNECTION WITH FIFA 08 AT LEAST IN PS3!I WOULD LIKE TO ASK SOMETHING:WHY FIFA HAS NOT GREEK SUPERLEAGUE AND HAVE WE(HERE IN GREECE) ANY CHANCE OF SEEING IT IN THE FUTURE? It does have a connection with FIFA 08... same menus.

also has anyone noticed that on FIFA 08 or 09, when you choose the teams, there are those wavy lines with different colours showing the team colours of the team you choose...

those wavy lines are on the XMB on the PS3, which is why I always felt that FIFA 08 or 09 really belongs on the PS3!!!

although don't get me wrong, i am sure the 360 is good for FIFA as well.

The online game is utterly ruined for me.

It could be so good, but why was the decision taken to completely ignore people who play on "semi" controls? Because no one plays on "manual" you are almost forced to use assisted controls just to compete.

There NEEDS, NEEDS to be an option to force "semi" controls.

Every game I come up against someone that is clearly using assisted and it's so frustrating, it ruins the game. Against my friend we both use "semi" and in these games it's the best representation of football ever created. However as soon as I play random people online the game descends into scripted automatic madness ala Pro Evo.

I plead, plead for the team to action this request if not in a patch in next years version. I actually bought an Xbox specifically for this game and now I feel like I've completely wasted my money as online is a huge component for me.

I don't expect a response or an explanation but it would be most appreciated.

Thanks Cow, I know there are people out there using it because once in a blue moon I do get a decent realistic game against someone that is clearly using semi/manual controls. However this is completely dwarfed by the number of times I've been destroyed by people using exploits only available when using assisted controls.

The game is a million times better on semi, it's like watching real football. yet it's not a viable option online unless you want to get your backside handed to you in 75% of games.

I want better keeper, a keeper with larger area cover...rush faster, more faster responsive control, less accuracy through pass, non re-rest position on freekick & real time throw in..much more movement inside the box during corner, the ball & players not staying in the air too long, fine detail setting on tactics..like off ball position & on-ball, players with much more area coverage...like to set a player running to right side from left...another one running from left flank to right...

anyway, I am very appreciate you guys make a good game.......
