hehe...
@DMXDex2020 - we're looking into a couple of relatively rare trapping problems...if you can get it in a replay - bung it on youtube or something and post the link. Numbers/kits - all the kits have been approved by the clubs - so not sure whats going on - will look into it.

@ Others - we'll be looking to gather feedback in the next month or so for the next version - so watch this space

It's a hostile place, you go to a forum, say who you are, until there is conclusive & credible proof, people will go for you like a pack of wolves, like it's instinct!

Turning up personally at the forums is a very nice move though, good for the public eye, & gathering feedback firsthand, hopefully it will help improve the game further, as so far it's made some good progress the last few years, hopefully that will continue.

Get some well deserved holiday time, & welcome to the forums.

Hope you dont think im ungratefull david its a quality game mate, on here during the production of fifa 09 people were complaining about numbers on alot shirts being small for kits premiership kits seemed to have the problem more than most which is seems to have been fixed, i dont have a camera or anything to get it on

Will the ball trapping be fixed with a patch or is the game hard coded so you cannot fix the issue?

O yea i think you need warning david when everyone gets up and see this thread its gonna be on page 30 before you know it lol.

Mr. Rutter great for u to join this forum.... its nice to see someone from EA on this thing so all the haters will quit hating on EA for "not" listening to us! but anyways hearing you say that we will have to wait for the next version... does that mean there will be no improvements or add-ons to the game(in patch form) like there was last year... im talkin about the 5v5 online games!

well i cant say it needs to be improved yet because i am in the US and cant get it for a week and a half :-( but thanks for being on here and listening to the fans of this amazing game!!!!

Sorry about the delay in the US launch...I've had to get a special copy here so I can play on the weekend - as most of the dev team dont have versions yet

Itll be worth the wait though

Thanks for joining EA Staff - appreciated.

One thing I passed onto Baker is that there's still no Australia only leaderboard for 360!

Also, a few bugs that you no doubt are aware of by now:

1. The sidestepping bug...when a through ball is played and instead of running to the ball, the forward will sidestep beside it, allowing the defenders time to catch up.
2. The ball watching bug/stun bug - when a player is just ball watching and decides not to attack the ball

Well, with feedback I think the most obvious one is the Manager Mode. There's threads everywhere about it, but I'm sure you're already working on it.

Some Manager Mode ideas I've made or seen from others:
1. First of all, getting all current gen stuff into next gen.
- Some of the simple things such as youth academy and media comments add to the experience. If the ideas already have been done, it should be easy to implement.

2. Transfer System
- Transfer Summary, being able to see transfers from other teams.
- More realistic prices, on next gen it doesn't take much money to buy players. On FIFA 08 I was able to buy Pique for less than 1 million euros, he's worth way more in real life. Age should calculate into the price. Also goals scored, assists made should make someone more expensive.
- Reputation should count. If Kaka gets transferred it should be to other big teams. A lot of people have had situations where Ronaldinlalalalaves to some 2nd division team, does that make sense at all?

I'll post more ideas tomorrow, I'm getting sleepy.

I'll play 360 mostly because of the achievement we've got for playing us.
But right now - I'm gonna log off and chill out for an hour.
Night all...
