Hello David !
The Game is great...I love it how the ball is flying now and other things ! To play Online 10 : 10 is also nice and good - but I think it would be better to have the possibility to say how many players can join in. It is very difficult to play now at the beginnig 10:10 ...chaos on the field ! I hope you understand what I mean ?! thx |

You can't force someone to answer you, and you somehow seem to think that they owe you an answer, which is not only selfish, but also very naive and not flattering to your intellect. You have posted your message several times, now if someone else feels like responding to you, they will. If they don't feel like responding to you, they won't. It's out of your hands mate, please realize that and give it a rest. ![]() (Sorry all for me playing moderator, but I felt something should be said. If I'm out of line let me know). Quote:

One issue I have that I haven't seen much mention of is with Be a Pro Season Mode. Why isn't this a 'genuine multiplayer' mode like on Euro 2008? This was easily the best game mode on any football game ever! So please if possible with a patch, make it so more than one player's 'pro' stats can be tracked during this mode, otherwise the multiplayer option seems a little pointless. Please let me know what you think. Best Regards! |

your an idiot...
EA clearly stated that MM won't be touched at all (minor, minor changes occurred) if you just want the game for MM and you want big improvements and **** wait for Fifa 10 next year.

Thanks for quite possibly the best footie game I've played, Team EA.
Like many others, I used to play PES religously, but a failure to evolve (no pun intended) the series has allowed you guys to evolve the FIFA series at an alarming rate, step in and take that mantle as far as I'm concerned. Well done! Might've been asked elsewhere, how comes no Zenit St. Petersburg? |

Im sorry but your a complete ****. Many people have paid hard earned cash for this game to Play online and offline in Manager Mode and if Ea at least dont fix a few issues with it then As far as Im concerned the game is broken Whats the point in saying there is weather in the game if you dont see it at all in Manager mode thats so long at times depending on what division your playing in. It will be a right kick in the teeth if they dont atleast fix the weather bug in MM for the people who bought the game to play offline |

![]() ![]() well, the side stepping factor can win or lose you the match. The fact your player just stops doing anything occasionally , the fact you can rarely commit a foul without getting a card. The whole lalalala with EA screwing up people's account so they can't even play online anymore. The BAP online mode where the camera sometimes doesn't even show you what's going on (yes, I'm aware of the Select button) the long ball is back i.e. people just peg it and see who's faster, your CB or their Striker (it's invariably always their striker Mostly everything else is great, and I occasionally am in awe of it... it's a good game, but for me these things can ruin it, and ***** me off to the point I turn it off, come on the forums and moan about it

Sure there are issues with MM but mostly they arent bugs, they have just been left out. At some point you have to draw a line in the sand and say the title is done for this year and to start on next years. Now personally I will live with this years because it plays so well. Next years we will see but until then all the moaning in the world isnt going to make extra developers appear, increase the development budget or add/patch things that are just to difficult to do in a reasonable time frame. |

^ What Mr Cooley said.
Considering what EA have managed to cram into a year's development time is mighty impressive; given we've now got 10v10 online, as well as a whole host of other nifty things like the ADIDAS Live Season, improved mechanics etc. Sure, there are a few niggles that exist in the game, which the team are collating and hopefully providing fixes for. Think yourself lucky you're not one of those waiting for Konami to put out their long overdue fix for PES 2008, otherwise known as PES 2009. |

£40 for a 4 season Be a pro career/10V10 lag fest/No weather in Manager mode = Waste of money
Wow the gameplay has been fixed erm no it aint Players still crab walk to the through balls Man utd/Barca still spawn the ball off rebounds and run through players like they aint there. Players are still Underrated/Overrated Wins not being given when a player quits on ranked The curl on the freekicks is like watching someone wearing Banana boots Goalkeepers rushing out too much Red cards for nothing Offsides when your clearly not offside Advantage played for 2 secs then your called back for the freekick after you are through on goal and about to score Game is broken if they have spent a year on this game then they must have spend 6 months on vacation Little things that should have been fixed have not been touched So much potential this game has its stupid that it feels like they have neglected the most important parts of the game or not atleast tweaked it The game is great and addictive though but it feels like every year Ea build our hopes up and then shatter them once the game has been released Im sorry if people dont agree but Imo we are being ripped off year after year Maybe 250 changes but thats including the amount of stuff they have removed aswell Come on who tested the game a monkey?? They sould release a patch that fixes all of the above and the following Weather on Tele cam and other cams and weather in Manager mode There is no excuse for a company as big as EA to neglect such little things that could keep many people entertained until Fifa2010 arrives Im so glad that EA never got to buy Rockstar as They would screw GTA up big time and release one every year with so called new added features that you cannot see Ps. Sorry for the lack of punctuation Im ranting here |

As for fifa. Games development is not finite its an evolution. So sure somethings are worse than others but to be fair they dont deliberately try to make a bad game or buggy game. Its just life things get ommitted or arent quite as good as they could be. Lets just see what they say in the coming days before we keep moaning about the same things over and over. They already said they are looking in to the feasibility of fixing or addressing these issues. Give them time to look in to it. Hell the games only been out a week. |

Right then - this seems like a thread which is genuinely read by, and posted in by, EA Staff (fairly senior staff as well!!
). So, at the risk of sounding like a broken record ... FIXTURE CLASHES???I've asked this a number of times, sent PMs to some of the EA Staff and apart from EAUK_Aurora nobody has replied to me. Aurora was understanding, and tried to help, but ultimately didn't know the answer. So, can you please tell me if the problem with fixture clashes has been sorted in Manager Mode? I'm fed up of having two games in one day (a league and cup game mainly) and even 3 games in two days (a leage and cup game on Saturday, say, followed by a League Cup game on the Sunday). Surely it's not too difficult to write a bit of code to reschedule matches. I'm sure it wasn't a problem pre FIFA07, so I don't see why, the past two years (ie 07 and 08 ) it's been an issue. Thanks A-F EDIT - I'm talking specifically about the PS3 version, btw, but I guess it will be the same across all formats. Last edited by A-Friend; 08-10-2008 at 01:08 PM.. |

Hi.
Myself and others are SOOO confused with the situation with weather in FIFA 09. We understand that if you choose overcast you might get rain or snow or possibly neither... What we don't understand is... - How come the snow/rain is hardly ever visible in tele cam ? up until today everyone thought it wasnt viewable at all in tele cam but then someone finally posted a video of visible snow in the tele camera view ( YouTube - Fifa 09 Snow in Tele View!!! ). This is a rariety and most of the time if there is snow you can only see it during cut scenes and in the "pro" camera view. Is this normal ? Im assuming because some guy posted snow in tele cam that it is indeed a bug and that when there is snow it should ALWAYS show in tele cam... can you confirm this ? This also applies to Rain which again does not seem to be visibley falling in tele cam . - I believe i have played in wet conditions before due to the way the ball reacts to the surface but i didnt ever see any rain or even splashes when the ball hits the surface (you can see the splashes in this video YouTube - FIFA 09 RAIN). Is this a bug and should the splashes ALWAYS be visible with wet weather or are there differing levels of wet weather. Should the rain always be visible if there is wet weather or is it possible to have wet weather but with no actual rain (ie: it rained before the game kicked off or whatever) - Does the weather ever change mid game, ie : it will be snowing/raining for part of it and then stop ? - Is it only possible to have rain/snow when set to overcast ? is it not possible to have rain or snow during dusk and night time games ? - Why hype up weather effects and there effect on the gameplay when its VERY rare to play matches in either the rain or snow ? why did you not make it an option for us to choose pre match. You can choose between Day, Night, Dusk and Overcast... why not let us choose if we want rain and snow as well ? It would be great to get an answer as there is so much confusion as to whats going in with the weather in FIFA 09. If you could confirm if there are bugs with it then that would go some way to putting a stop to the confusion. Please respond, it would really be appreciated |
