WOW - what a pleasure!

First off this game's great. I downloaded and played the PES demo today and it was like going back in time, it's tragic really.

As I said this game's great, and for so many reasons - you guys created the best football game ever... congratulations!

Within the next couple of days members of the FIFA team will come onto the forums regularly. As you can imagine, it's a little bit hectic due to the launch but once we're all set-up with proper accounts and "pimped out" avatars, we'll all introduce ourselves properly via our own posts and blogs.

Hi david the online seems to be laggy right now for the ps3 mate any chance that its the servers settling down?

Really like fifa 09 few glitches like sometimes the player will go to the ball and will just stop and the attacking player will then get it, and off the ball players just plant themselfs behind a defender and just dont move or make a run, i have not fiddled with the team tactics yet so maybe that is why.

Well done fifa 09 is very good compared to 08.

I dont have much negative feedback either i would just like the online to be less laggy.

The 2 things i have pointed out are very annoying but i have no choice but to live with it.

great game, just one slight worry with regards to multiplayer (on xbox live). having played 20 or so matches on a VERY good connection (against local people) there seems to be quite a bit of button lag, particularly in 1v1. It seems to be worse than in fifa 08... spoke to quite a few people online and they have all been saying the same thing. Is this likely to be teething problems with the servers ? Any hope of getting rid of the issue ? Id hate for a great game to be ruined by button lag when playing online.

Barca, Man U etc, to give themselves an advantage over you, but you will still beat them.
