I've never seen the weather on FIFA 09, on Euro 08 i thought it was excellent, you can the ball travelling through puddles but not on this one, haven't seen anything, only see the so called snow at the side of the pitch!!

I'm multi-pasting because they aren't listening and I'm trying something different. To me, spamming is usually completely unrelated to the thread in hand.

I played my first offline game last night and saw it Danny - I only play online really.

There is definately NO weather effects online. The "Wet" pitch is just sticky, and only identifiable by the dark green colour. The same pitch offline has rain effects and splashes, puddles, spray off the rolling ball etc.

Xbox 360 BTW.

I think I've mentioned a couple of times, I don't have the opportunity to read every post - but do try to cherry pick a few every day or so.

It wasnt that hard to look at a thread with an obvious title that could help you out was it =/
It would of been easier for you to have a brief scout around and try and solve the problem by looking in other threads rather than coming in here and continuously quoting yourself. Just saves yourself and others alot of hastle.

I dont know how David keeps his cool xD

Hello David, do you have any info on why the team decided not to include a Save Goal Replay feature on NG Fifa. I know not every feature we want can be added to the game obviously but this is a basic feature which was in football games last century and is on both the PS2 and PC version. Im an offline player so the upload to EA SW feature isnt available to me.

I said it in a few interviews last year - but basically we focused on gameplay, BAP, 10 v 10, custom team tactics and adidas live season last year.

We did a heap of other improvements too - but we didnt get to the save to HD. I'm sorry about that.

Whilst I can't promise it for FIFA 10 - I can assure you that Gary Paterson, Mike Takla, Aaron McHardy, Christophe Labrune, Marcel Kuhn and I are well aware of how important this is to a lot of you...thats all the producers and designers on the team...

I dont know if this relates to the above question exactly, but I would love it if we could save our replays in High Definition, e.g. via saving it onto the HDD

Hi David!
I just wanted to tell you, that uploading still doesnt work.
It freezes @ 49% but i found out to get it work:
You have to delete your old settings/profile and create a new one.
But then all my statistics are lost and some other saves like MM wont load.
Is there a way to fix this?
I can send you my profile savegame.

And another bug is at the statistics:
It always shows that i only played 100 games and scored 100 goals.

Hi David, first of all id like to say a big thanks for the success of Fifa09. Im still enjoying the game immensly. I can only imagine how great Fifa10 is going to be. My question to you is, When, roughly, will you be able to release any info regarding Fifa10 as to what new features etc are going to be included or are hoping to be included? Cheers.

Mr David, any boot packs coming with the update?

For FIFA2010 you guys at EA should make an option to choose the color of the boots from a color palette. for example, make 1 nike mercurial, 1 adidas predator etc, then we choose what color we want for X player, its a good way to keep the boots updated.

I swear to god, it annoys me that so many people want boots, socks, hair-styles added instead of the servers, glitches and general errors fixed.

If you set your controller config settings in the custom search for online games it's possible to change and leave the setting to any.

What this means is - it's possible to match up against a manual control player and have manual control FORCED onto you.

No Restrictions will let you play against anyone with your settings.
ANY will force your opponents onto you.
Manual will mean you only play manual players
Assisted means you'll only play assisted players

I don't think that 'any' makes sense for the future tbh.

Umm...so Rutter, you're saying that everyone that may be having these problems may have accidentally chosen "ANY" instead of "No Restrictions" and now it's been saved that way? Why then, when I search for a "Manual" unranked or ranked match do I not get any games?
