Believe it or not, Ben, the guy who did the review, saw it, registered on GT, and owned the guy that did it (not really, but sent him a email without him telling him it, now hes featured on G4) Lol and made him remove the screens lalalala

im gald that mag gave fifa 08 a poor rating - only because there were elements i didnt like about it which seems to be shared by them.

given that they have upped it to 9/10 is really promising!!

great score. Hope it lives upto it. FIFA 08 was great, but it was just lagging in the area's where it needed to be spot on, so 6/10 is fair, i'd even give it 5/10 cause of the average ability to build up real plays.

Sounds like FIFA 09 rewards a passer, not a spammer. The days of me losing to noobs is over!

completely argree pal, it will be good to play with more teams online, i hated almost being forced to use the big teams just to make a competitive match out of it.

I love how players have psyhik like all small players is fast and quick, but big players is slow and win the ball fast !

Its sounds so realistic and MUCH BETTER!

Problem is that Ronaldo is both fast and has a pretty good body strength, eventhough I support Man Utd I don't play with them and playing against them is annoying because everyone exploits Ronaldo. Hopefully it will be much easier to defend the wings with the costum team tactics.

Read the review, read the part about the freekicks being more scoreable (which I'd already heard) and that you can practice them in the arena.

Does anyone know though, if one can actually practice these kicks in the arena WITH A WALL. And please let it be something definitive. I haven't seen it in any of the videos but I'm not gonna write it off just yet.

OPM, the official PES lapdog, gave Fifa 09 a 9/10 review score?

All that's left is for IGN to give Fifa 09 a similar score and I know for sure that hell has frozen over. Mind you, the latest Fifa 09 preview on IGN looks like they're really, really impressed with this year's offering.

Fantastic review, next stop PSM who thought Fifa 08 was terrible while they reckoned PES 2008 was great.
