amazing idea best ever sceptics just cant handle the fact that they may be playing with lower ranked players , but at the end of the day i play with teams like Fulham and Sheffield United more often than not because it gives me more of a challenge i hate the saps that use the same team day in day out e.g Arsenal and Barca.

Maybe teams like Villa may get more of a look in this season with the run were going on.

this thing has a 50/50 chance of going really well or really bad...

If the money they make from it goes towards the servers then it wouldnt be so bad....

They are not updating the actual stats of the players, just their performance, from the 5 preset levels. That will take a tole on the rest of the stats, but it isnt actually changing the stats of all these players. They will go through a list of players on their database and change one setting to one of five different options. Nothing else.

I like this new feature but still have a question about it.
What if I create my own all star team on eg Liverpool and stats are updated.
Will all changes I made to the teams be undone as well or will those be kept?

I mean if I do some transfers making Liverpool consist out of KaKa, Cech, Gerrard, Mascherano, Agbonlahor, Tevez, Fabregas,... Will all non Liverpool players go back to their original team after the weekly update or not?

does this affect single player when your playing just as yourself, or only online?

and does it only affect a players form? like, if hes good, will he be running faster, getting more shots on goal, his sprint lasts longer?

...say if Ronaldo snaps his ankles, does that mean the bloke who bought this crazy idea plays as Man Utd. and I pick Portugal and haven't paid for it.....I get a fully fit Ronaldo to rule the game (i never play with Man Utd., I hate those Ronaldo people

) and Mr. Credit Card ends up having to replace him (because he's rated poorly) with someone inferior, mahahahahaha

good luck with that.

not everyone has a credit card, you're basically cutting a lot of people off from having it. Here's a suggestion, give it to us free and add a fiver onto the RRP of the game

jesus christ people keep going on about how you have to pay for this but you get free trial for a whole season of one league so stop complaining until you try it out

) can switch this feature off so he can play the fit Ronaldo on his team.

So I guess, at least to me, this feature will stay off until Everton start doing good in the season

tbh, I'll just use the one league trial for free. So including it in the price of the original game isn't a great idea imo.

I would pay that at the began of the game you're only losing £13 (british user) n ?20/$20 (european/american/canadian user) on one payment that's pretty cheap if you ask me?

So say I play Arsenal, and Nasri's form is 5 stars, will playing against him be as noticeable as playing as him?

It seems all that will change is number ratings. Id pay for this service if they were updating the teams formations, line ups and everything about the current style of a team. But just updating some numbers isnt really worth it. I could easily have put numbers in with a little editor.

The PC version will be useless because a hack will be found and people will be able to get stat updates from the internet. The PS3 and 360 versions will sell but I still feel EA is charging 5 quid for nothing. Ok they will say they have over 1000 scouts but to be honest these scouts will have similar numbers to what some people here would choose.

Haha..I'm not paying for that. The game's expensive as it is and the glitches...oh the glitches. And the faulty AI...It's not even worth the money I pay now, much less extra.

I'm hoping it'll be better and the AI/other glitches will be fixed. I probably won't buy it until some of my friends play it thoroughly so I know what to expect.

to be honest this sounds like what was said before 08 was released and what 08 was supposed to be now that 09 is going to be released we are told that we are expected to not only pay for the game but for it to work in the way last years was supposed to we have to pay extra i think its an outrage

actualy 08 20 times better than 06 and i never liked pes but just before 08 came out we were told we were going to have regular stat and squad updates we had 2 throughout the whole season now we're being told yeah we've sorted this but its gonna cost ya

i think the only place in which this would be put to good use would be in the interactive leagues they need to have this on all the time in interactive leagues! really there is no point in it as when your team is doing bad you can just turn it off!

Top Idea. If you don't like it don't get it, it's not rocket science. I mmost certainly will, when you think about it it's peanuts for all the info you get, I'd charge way more if someone wanted me to do it for them lol.

The only problem I can see is quick ranked matches but then they're always going to be a problem, and there's always going to be cheats etc. As far as online leagues, tournaments and playing at home amongst friends, I think it will be a great addition.

One question though, why Wednesdays?
