PS3 Trophies?

I was just wondering if the PS3 version of FIFA 09 will feature trophies and custom soundtracks? I'm gonna get it anyway

, but it'd just be a big plus if it had them.

Yeah me too, but i wouldn't blame EA. I would blame Sony - their lazy, i-do-care attitude is what is causing all this problem. We should have had trophies a long time ago, but Sony said it was cr*p (they were just trying to make fun of the 360's achievements system). However, when they found out how popular the achievements system was, they decided to implement it.

Also the inability to play custom music on a PS3 was the most baffling. So with all the CELL and talk of the PS3 being the most powerful console, we can't play customised music, yet the 360, which they claim is inferior to the PS3, can do all that?

Not EA's fault, mate. Sony's fault. They screwed us up. If I didn't hate the 360 controller so much I would be buying the 360 version of Fifa 09 (I've got a 360 as well).

I think he wants to tell you that there is a third party playstation lookalike controller for the 360, they have it at my local store

You wouldn't blame EA for not having trophies?? If sony was too late with the trophies while fifa was too far in development, why cant EA just patch them in later on??? of course its EA's fault, I cant wait till next year when sony makes trophies mandatory on all games, what you going to then EA haha, if you want your game on the ps3 it will have to have trophies.

IMO if EA dont patch trophies in to me it shows they are lazy developers, if EA do patch them in just ignore this post

for gods sake. they are on about making the game more realistic but the reason why people play the game is to see some rewards. whats the point in always winning things when all you see is your players running around the pitch like a bunch of idiots then posing for a team photo with no trophy

This is ridiculous!! I just have no concept of why EA wouldn't include trophy support (unless it is because of the lateness of FW 2.4). Surely they will patch this, especially now it's been announced that PES WILL have trophy support?

if that's the case NBA 09 Live shouldn't have PS trophies but it does, oh well looks like I'll be playing NBA 09 & FIFA 09 this season

I really hope so,because adding trophies is not a hard thing.

Naughty Dog said it only took them 2 days.

But i am pretty sure EA will take more than 4 months for trophies.

Start making trophy threads so that EA can release a patch for this as fast as possible.

not to get funny but are you guys developers? do you have any idea about the api that sony have offered ( i dont) do you know its easy? do you have any idea about the code base for fifa is structured? what testing is entailed? the ea release process? the dev cycle any of these things? im a developers and sometimes things like this can be a bloody nightmare ( not a developer for ea or any games company)

Adding Trophies to game is easy for developers not me.

Look at that thread,in that the devs say adding trophies was"Incredibly easy".

Adding trophies is not a big headache,its just shows EA's laziness.

We are the consumers and we do have demands,WE PAY.We are not getting it for free{FIFA 09}.
