PS3 is expensive, thats why it has sold less but it has alot more features then Xbox360.
If the PS3 was as good as people make it out to be, why would the cost (around £100 more I believe) matter that much?

If you don't pay for this feature is the database not updated weekly?

You get a season trial with one league (eg, choose Premier League, and you get weekly updates until final game of season in May). After that, you have to pay £12.99 for all leagues for the next season. So 09 is like a trial year for it, and FIFA 2010 will be the proper year for it.

Correct, you will still be able to get the winter update though. However, you will get a free trial when you get the game, actual pricing for this feature hasn't been announced as of now.

can anyone tell me if ea sports league is in the works for 09 this fall. I saw it for 09 and I thought it would be perfect for fifa. I think it would be more popular than this live season.

I would advise NOBODY sign up for this, its just a quick money spinner. The whole point of FIFA is the 'fantasy' element, with the realistic game play. Why the heck would you want Tevez for example injured just because he is in real life!!!!. You may as well just play a game and have the result changed to the real life one.

Honestly people EA are having you on with this stunt!!!!! DO NOT FALL FOR IT, its a money grabbing spin off. Play your own game, if a player gets injured then fair play, if not then he's fine to play. If you think a player is overated or underated then change the stats yourself .

DO NOT PAY THEM for a useless, pointless waste of time.

I'm gonna use it because I think it's a great idea and plus it costs because EA must update 6 leagues with many players which isn't easy.

Dont' you think that the guys who do this deserve to be paid for their families?

The new service will be available for Barclay’s Premier League, La Liga BBVA, Ligue 1, Bundesliga, Serie A and Mexican Primera Division on the PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment system, the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system and PC.

I dont know if this has been answered or not but why isnt the Turkish League part of this and is there a chance that it will be a part of it?

Couldn't you say that for pretty much every league not featured?

Those are the top 5 leagues in Europe, and arguably the top league in N. and S. America. They will expand most likely to more leagues for FIFA 2010, but for now, we have these leagues

I just realized something....

Say you are playing with Man United and you have the "live season" then you will not have CR7. But you could be playing with someone who does not have it and they have CR7 at 100% because they did not download the updates.

Not only CR7 but any big player it is almost stupid to get this. If your best player goes down you could be playing against the same team but they are better because they didn't dl the rosters where the player is injured screwing you over. LOL way to go E$$$$$$A. Can't spell EA $$$$ports with out the $.

sounds good so while people are jumping around using live season to find a team others are just using those teams because they are not changing.

When players are seriously injured, they may get a poor or bad form rating to reflect the fact they aren’t able to play up to their rating in the database. We are not making players unavailable due to suspension or injury for the service this year.

You will still have Ronaldo available to play, but he will most likely have a poor form rating due to the fact that he is injured. The Live Season updates can be used offline as well as online, with you having the option whether you want to use the default or Live Season squads when playing online.

I think that the 6 leagues used are the leagues with the countries that play FIFA the most in an order so that's why NO turkish and also countries that are football crazy

You are basically making my point for me. I am saying that I am not going to pay for the leauges and I don't use Barclay's Premier Leauge for a free leauge so when I or ANYONE goes online without the updates they have an advantage because they can use any players regardless. In the case of Manchester United someone who uses them against another person using them is at a disadvatage because the person with Adidas Live will have CR7 with significantly lowered stats while the person without can use him at 100%.....so what is the point to have them if they are lowered stats when you can just not get updates and play him at full strength?

No. What he said is totally different. If you purchase or use the trial of Live Season, when you are online you can choose to use DEFAULT or LIVE SEASON squads. There is no advantage. Why is this feature seemingly so hard to grasp?

If you receive the Live Season updates for any of the leagues, you have the option to use the Live Season squads, or the default squads when playing online. Just because you have chosen to receive the Live Season squads, it doesn't mean that you have to use them when you play online. This is one of the questions that has been answered in the FAQ.
