I dont understand why people slagging the game off?

Sure, EA can never please everyone 100% but i bet you they have included something in the game that DOES please you?....i for one am happy about it all, the speed is great, i love the way players fall, get knocked off the ball, i love watching them go up for headers, when they stretch for a ball thats just out of reach, shielding defenders was a big improvement and i now use it alot plus the fact you can now have 2 players taking a free-kick....

Sure, the graphics dont look 100% perfect but this was what i thought when playing the Fifa08 demo only to be impressed when the full game came out.

Instead of slagging the game off, think of the things that DO impress you and how many millions of people there is out there to please - you'll be surprised how much work EA has actually put into it.

I just really hope they have improved the manager mode and included things like neutral ground for cup semi/finals and included the (English) play-offs....

i have to agree with you on this, it's a demo, treat it like a Beta and make judgement when the full game is released guys come on enjoy it.

Its a demo. This is short for demonstration meaning this is a sample of the real game. So common sense (which isnt that common apparently) means that they will try and make the demo as small as possible for download. I mean do we need high res textures, fully bump mapped stadiums, the right sponsors!? on the chelsea kit.....er no. All we need is confirmation that this has moved on from 08. That some of the main critisims of 08 have been worked on.

This will never be 100% either as a demo or full game. The true aim is to see it get better each year.

Now can we please stop all this stuff about the grass textures......that are in a DEMO! and all the other silly things.

Does this move the game on.....yes.....are we going to have another list of "demands" comments for 2010.....yes. But lets play the full game before making those lists yeah???

I would hate to be EA....they know they have to give us a demo but they know they cant showcase it in its true glory etc hell of a catch 22 dont you think.

Now come on Sony.....it cant be that hard to upload the file and add the link/icon to PSN europe???

im loving it, downloaded it last night at about 10ish, played it til half two this morning, got up at ten and played it for another few hours. it is a little boring now cos theres only a 2 minute match to play.

the graphics to me look brilliant, the flow of the game is so much better than any of the past fifas ive played, the passing goes where i want it to at last, tacklings a bit better and when you slide someone now, they go down with a bang instead of just tripping.

the calls the ref makes a amazing, i played last night, slid the opposition and the ref played on, advantage went off and they missed there shot, when it went out of play he went back and booked me for my challenge.

they go off to recieve treatment, and i actually saw them laid on the sideline waiting, then he got up and the ref actually waved him to come back on the field.

i love free kicks, the curl is little crazy, but the second man is brilliant, i can score nearly all free kicks, by calling a second man, keeping hold of l2 and pressing X into the path of someone else and belting it in everytime.

skill seems a little slow at the minute, for me anyway, but it only a demo so no complaints for that. that thing they do when your stopped and holding r2 is brilliant, and ive noitced holding l2 when i pass or do through balls, results it little backheels and other flick ons. L2 seems to help with doing overhead kicks too.

overall i love this game, ive never loved a fifa so much in my life, cant wait til 3rd october now, its gonna take forever to get there now too.

Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees! It's available to download!!!

I'm downloading it at the mo but it's going pretty slow, it's been downloading for about an hour now and it's on 42%, should be able to play it around 7.30 but hopefully it'll get quicker
I can't wait to play it! You lucky guys who have already played it are just... so lucky
