Stadiums look amazing! (except for the crowds which still can be improved on, but atleast there better then last year)

I think i'll make the switch to next gen for fifa 09.

Why are Man Yoo fans mostly dressed in white t-shirts?

Maybe they're wearing their away shirts lol. but this is at Old Trafford. Hopefully EA will sort it before 09 is released. they have a few months to do so.

Something to keep in mind is that the game is still under development so there will probably be quite a few changes between now and the games release.

wow Rooney on the cover. I think it would be cool if you could have a first person view..the Pro view thats currently used is good, but FP would be awesome...with peripheral vision and everything.

Hi guys.
can anyone confirm if any of those screens is for the PC version? Or we'll have another half baked version again this year? It would be nice to have the same game engine as th 360 and PS3.
If this continues someday even the WII and the DS will have next gen versions

sorry for the english. i'm from portugal.

This is what Paul Hossack said in a PC-specific interview with IGN.

IGN: How specifically have the visuals been improved in this year's game?

Paul Hossack:
It's hard to boil it down to one thing, but the player from head to toe just looks like it's on a completely different playing field. We use the same super high detail models from the PS3 and 360. These heads are five times the polygon count, the base geometry is just that more deep. It's not about polygons and textures, though, but it's the effects and what we do with it. We've done environment mapping and are using shaders properly -- the exact shaders that consoles use -- so that when you see your favorite player like Steven Gerrard, you'll see the vein in his arm and the sweat glisten properly on his brow; that makes it feel that much more realistic. The little details definitely make the difference, especially 2 feet away from the montior for PC

The pics loook very very good, but the crowd looks asacly the same as 08 no flags no nothing that would be dissapointing if it stayed like that in the final copy.

to those of you complaining about the crowd, when your playing the game and your really getting into it do you seriously look at the crowd and focus on it? stop complaining, its a small detail that if they did do it everybody would be like 'meh'
as said on another thread
