2 Matches in 1 Day!?

So there I was looking up my MM calendar and all of a sudden I found a day where my team had to play 2 MATCHES!? I simulated all the way down to that day and played both of those matches. What's really interesting is that both of them took place at the San Siro (My team's home ground). Well yeah it would've been fine if there was a difference in timing.. but both matches took place at night.. ***?! I've never heard of anything like this in real football, EA really needs to fix this.

Has this ever happened to you?

tes it happens some times in the serie A with you playing the second leg of the coppa italia semisthe same day as a ecc quarter final that's how it has happened to me, in some seasons but not in others.

In the EPL it is almost always the case with an FA cup match and a league match taking place on the same day

I don't find it that annoying i've learnt to deal with it and I always have a 25 man squad so I can set two different starting line ups, mostly using the back up for the domestic cup

Yes this always happens to me in MM. In premier league you always play FA cup at weekends so you always play on same day as league match. It is annoying because it makes all your playerss get tired.

Happens all the time. Players get tired, but I always play my 2nd string players for Cup runs (except CL) anyways so its not a big issue. Always have a 25 man roster, works best I find.

Happens all the time, particularly English League cup (might be the FA cup) clashing with a league game
Also if you are in the English League Cup final, it is the day after another game

Yes, it's happened before. Especially if your in a league, in Europe, and in a Cup cometition. It can get over crowded!

I am in the 3rd season of my Shakhtar Donetsk MM in La Liga, and I had two friendlies on the same day. I looked at the calendar to see when I played my friendlies, and was worried because I could only see three. Then when I played the third one, I think against FC Porto, the game ended and I the training I had scheduled just after the game did not show any results. So I went back to calendar and noticed that the date had not changed and I had my last friendly against Lyon that same day. My team is relatively deep after getting John Obi Mikel and Aaron Lennon on free transfers going into this season but prior to that I would have had all backs playing the midfield.

i swear shakhtar donetsk aren't on the game? and they're not in la liga they're in the ukrainian league?

I just made most of them up. Srna is on the Croatian national team so I was able to write down his stats and edit a terrible player that looks like Srna to be him. I edit about 30 players to look like Fernandinho, Luiz Adriano, Ilsinho, Jadson, Oleksander Hladky, Willian, and at the time Marcelo Moreno. Moreno has since been transfer to Werder Bremen, in real life, but I took his second years stats from FIFA 08 to edit a guy to be him in FIFA 09.

oh ok thanks for telling me how, yeah i remember with my brentford team i had to edit players that look like other players before as some of them weren't on the game .. good luck with your MM

I've had this problem - it's so lalalalalalaed. I've also had two matches in two days, and that killed my HamKam side (from Norway). I had to put a weak side out for the Cup match (first match of the two) and they tired so easily as they were lalalala players

how did you put shaktar in spanish league. i created a team once but it would appear on 'rest of the world' teams in mm, so i couldnt play them
