Default Skills

I know it may seem easy on the training grounds, but it's pretty difficult to recall during a match while being under pressure. But still.. why is it that players hardly perform a successful skill in a match? After the end of each match, the Successful Skills part is mostly 0-0.

What about you.. how many skills do you perform in a match? I hardly get even one right.

Like in real life the game is too fast most of the time to perform tricks

stepovers and that are annoying, and not very useful in a match, but I do find that lane changes, 360's and rainbow flicks work very well, how many in a match,... don't really know, but I normally do them in inspired little bursts, like adebayor lane changing and 360ing past like 3 or 4 players to go 1-on-1 with their goalie! go me!

I have a very technical approach to the game and frequently use skills to set up passes and to get past my opponents obviously.

The stepovers are great for losing opponents that are pressuring from behind.
Line changes are a neat way of getting past slow defenders and then rush on towards goal!
Body feints (?) ( )-> <-( ) or the other way around, works similarily to the line change and are good for getting past opponents on the wings and then go for a cross.
360's are okay but I don't use em a lot.

I'm no good with the advanced skills, though.
Guess I'll have to practice a bit

About the match stats; the match engine doesnt count most skills that you would consider successfull (only using the skills to get past opponents that are really close seem to count besides the random stepovers shown in match highlights)

I rarely use them, I rely on passes and crosses to score goals (and the occasional long shot)

I sometimes doe stepovers, but usually end up losing the ball when i do skill moves

Lane change is pretty useful, stepovers just look cool but they never fool the CPU

I use quick lane change, and 360.

If your player is low on stamina, i use the stepover to help him gain speed and keep the ball for a bit longer.
