I know a thing or two about PS2 FIFA 09 and could help these people, I have a PS3, yes.

That was harsh though, I got my PS3 only recently due to money problems so, yeah.

the 360 is pretty cheap now you can get it with a buncha new games for under €300 ( don't know what type of games so they could be stupid games and I don't know how much memory it has) Yes I know that 300 is still a lot but considering what it once was.

The Ps3 here (The Netherlands) is €400+. So 100 is a lot.

Now I think that there are lots of people who CAN afford one (myself included) but some will see it as a waste of money. It depends heavily on what you play. I only play fifa and wwe and i've got both of them for my ps2, so there is no reason on getting a PS3. I am planning on getting in September (fifa 2010). By then I am hoping the price might have been knocked down by at least 50 euro's hehe

And of course as was mentioned before with the economic crisis right now might not be the best time to spend money on stuff like that. Better spend it on stuff that is of more importance (like food)

I'll be joining the Next Gen world in a couple of weeks.

Don't know if I'll bother with FIFA on PS3 though, might just stick with the PS2 version.

Then again, I'll be able to play online on PS3.....

You dont have to be a rich daddys boy to be able to afford a PS3, I'm 17 and live away from home and I saved up enough money to buy one.. took me like 2-3 months.. all that working was worth it.. so stop your ****ing sooking.

What is sooking? Sounds good to me. Anyway, no need to buy a next-gen, unless you want online play (in which case buy an old copy of 08 on PS2! ) 09 is a great game on PS2, time for everyone who habitually dump on EA to admit it!
