Default Goals from corner kicks

How do you score goals from corner kicks most of the time? I can't seem to get my men in front of the opposition to get a clear header on the ball. I always hold down L1 + kick button (between 40% - 80% power usually) and curl it in with the left stick to execute the corner kick but the opposition almost always clears the ball before I can header or take a shot on goal with my players.

If I have a really good striker against a weaker team they will header them in if my player is in a good position when the corner kick is taken and occasionally the ball will fall and I'll manage to kick it in too but most of the time the ball is cleared.

I would be keen to know how you take your corner kicks and how often you score off them.

The difficulty I play at is Professional for both.

I sometimes do it like this:If there is a player in front of the keeper(my player)I press L1+Square=low cross-shot and my player just puts it in the goal or sometimes the ball just huts him and it goes in.And when there isn't a player in front of the keeper i just do it simple.A cross in the box

If you curl it right at the GK's hands, he sometimes tips it in the goal.
I sometimes hit them to the edge of the box, where there is someone waiting with space. They have the time to control it and hit home from the edge of the box.
Simply smash it in the box and someone will get their head on it, but they always head over/wide.

I'll try curling it with some decent power at the GK next time I play and also curl it to the edge of the box.

I recently started doing ground corners and they seem to work more than floating the ball in. Using a variety would probably be the best bet.

vasi4 I'll see if I can curl it onto one of my players using the low cross shot. I'm still not sure whether using the low cross or lob is generally more successful.

The ground corners have definitely improved how I take corners against Premier League teams as I scored about 3 or 4 of them last night.

If there is only the keeper by the goal i cross it in low along the groung and 6 out of 10 times my guy gets there first and slots it in.
I HATE DEFENDING CORNERS!!!!!!

I find it rather easy to defend corners, this is how I do it:
*Press R3 and move keeper to edge of 6-yard box.
*Move a defender to mark the player that is the potential short-option.

That way the corner taker will either play it in the box and my keeper can get the ball/defender can clear the ball or he'll play it short and I'll often intercept the pass.

One thing that I'm trying to stop taking advantage of is marking players when opponent has a freekick; it's too easy to intercept short passes and make a quick counter to go 1-on-1 with the keeper.

Maxed out by season 6 (can probably be boosted to 84-85), a very good, strong attacking midfielder with good stamina and ball control.

like in real life, scoring from corners isnt necessarily overly occurrent; it will happen on occasion and perhaps in lucky streaks but its not a realiable source of goals.

i think back post is most consistant, sending a sailing ball to the back post and your player should get a head in over the keeper

Most of the times I take short corner kicks. It's easier to play an accurate cross with the second player.

Have atleast two players that are 'good' at heading in the box. 7/10 they will get the header in.

I've signed Anthony Annan on a private MM and he's my corner kicker and got 5 assists from headers from my wingers and strikers from one of his corners.

I have a left footer on left corners and rt fters on rt corners, I vary between near post and back post to keep the defense guessing (if the AI is that "smart") I do pretty well, but don't know my stats.
Defending I switch to the short man, and wait for the kick, than switch to the nearest player and battle for position/tap the header button constantly.
