I'm in Season 7 with Aldershot. Season 6 was my first in the Prem. Won the UEFA Cup, won the League Cup, finished 14th in the Prem. I dodged relegation with a late season winning streak (of sorts).
Right now I'm conflicted between playing my best players (currently) and the ones I think can be boosted the highest (without looking them up). My scouts popped out William Woodman a few seasons back, and since I know how high he can be boosted to, I'm conflicted whether to play him or my current keeper who is currently about 10 points better. The current plan is to start playing the boostables once I'm pretty sure I can survive the Prem while doing so. |

Well in Season 9 I quick simmed Aldershot to a triple
:League Cup Premiership Title Champions League Yes, Aldershot winning the Champions League is just the sort of thing you only see in video games, but it was fun beating Inter in the final anyway. Before I quick simmed the final, I taped myself hanging a 7 spot on them just for kicks (the 2 on 1 break + low cross combo is deadly). Then I exited, reloaded and won it 2-1 via quick sim. Maybe I'll post a video of Inter's humiliation at the hands of a club from a town of 34,000 people. I've got them up to 4 and a half stars now. My best player is a striker I scouted in season 1 who is up to 91 now (he poured in a hat trick in my 7 goal fun game). All of my other starters are now in the 80s. As an added bonus, in the offseason my manager rating went to 10, so now I can officially tell management to stick it from here on out. The cash situation remains tight, but nothing unmanageable. I have three left on the checklist: Win FA Cup (for some reason I haven't swung this one yet) Get team to 5 stars (that's coming very soon) Get lineup all up over 90 (that may take some doing, though I suppose in season 15, I can sell all of my non-90 players and buy 90s from other teams) Last edited by captvee1207; 14-05-2009 at 05:55 AM.. |

A striker by the name of Guinan who was scouted in Asia/Oceania. He can get to 91. He's at 90.
An attacking midfielder named Beresford, I'm not sure where he's from. He can get to 94. He's at 91. He's equally good playing in central midfield if he needs to. And then I can't remember the central midfielder's name, but he can get to 92. He's also at 91. I think he's from Spain. The last transfer window saw me pocket a ton of money, so worst comes to worst, I'll buy whomever I need in season 15. |

In season 15, I now have an entire first team of players over 90:
3-4-3 GK - Lars Scholten - Holland - 23/07/2000 - 93 CB - Jules Martin - France - 04/08/1993 - 90 CB - Micah Richards - England - 24/06/1988 - 93 CB - Jacob Skilton - Nigeria - 04/02/1993 - 92 RM - Phillip Walther - Germany - 07/12/1997 - 91 CM - Jose Manuel Riera Ortega - Spain - 03/05/1996 - 92 CM - Franck Grandet - France - 18/06/1998 - 91 LM (CAM) - Reece Beresford - South Africa - 13/06/1991 - 94 ST - Gerard Dutoit - France- 10/09/1998 - 92 ST - Jake McCulloch - England - 15/06/1990 - 93 ST - Bradley Guinan - Australia - 06/11/1992 - 91 Richards is the only non-scouted player. I had a scout named Chav Caldwell who could theoretically get up to 96, but was a pain to boost because his strength and stamina started so low. I had only managed to get him to 88 when season 15 started. If I hadn't have bought Richards, I still would have been able to get him to 90 by the team the season ended. All of the above are at their boostable limit, except for Skilton who can get to 97 theoretically, and Martin who can get to 91. |

I've been running with Aldershot Town now for 3 seasons, have started blogging my progress. I'm currently in Premier League sitting 4th as its harder to win week in week out in this league.
![]() I'm interested to know how you get your players to improve so quickly? Or how you get your club stars up as AT are still 1 1/2 stars

With a low league team is it worth doing training, surely that tires the team out. Speaking of that is it better to improve the individual Coaches, Attacking, Midfield, etc. or Medical to improve recovery?
