How do I play as my country?

Is it possible through manager mode?

Or is it through the non-competitve root?

You can play as your country in friendly and in your tournament that you can create.

Doest Fifa 09 on PS2 allow you to play through career/management mode as a lower league team rather than a premiership team? E.g. Nottingham Forest, Derby County, Port Vale, Chesterfield etc.

You can play in the lower leagues of the major nations.. such as France, Spain, Italy, Germany etc. You can also play to League Two in England..

are there more south american clubs? would be nice to play Copa Libertadores with a variety of South American teams not just brazilians,argentinians or mexicans...

i enjoy playing fifa 2008 online mode ..well ..if you do so..dont get this lalalala ...2009 fifa dont have online game mode ..

I just got FIFA 09 and am VERY Disappointed to discover that it does not have online play. I have been enjoying playing online with 08 and was looking forward to continuing it with 09. Does anyone know if the PS3 version has online play? I was wondering if they are phasing out the PS2 software. I can't afford to buy a PS3 right now...
