Some details please....

- is your windows 7 32bit or 64bit?
- have you updted your sound/video drivers to a version compatible with windows 7 ?
- is your GFX compatible with DirectX10 ? (DX10 is required to run windows 7 corectly)

try this:

right click FIFA09.exe ==> propreties ==> compatibility and select windows vista or XP.

Fifa runs smoothly on my pal's windows 7 beta AND RC1. Try looking for windows 7 beta drivers for your video card. They are out there and they help with performance issues.

Or get yourself a new machine... Win 7 requires powerfull CPU's, like Intel Core i7.

Don't lie to the guy, check your facts. Windows 7 runs on anything that can run XP....FACT. I am running it on an AMD Turion 2.2 and it is as smooth as silk. My pal runs it on a celeron 1.8 and it runs perfectly fine.

If you did an upgrade you might run into such problems. Either roll-back or perform a fresh install to eliminate such niggly problems.

There is even windows XP mode if you so require.
