Can we drop this now? Honestly, it's such a small matter to make such a fuss about! This has nothing to do with the patch, it's just England v Scotland nonsense.

No, Im from Croatia. You know that small country who always beats Scotland in qualifications and sometimes England, especialy when England needs draw for qualification?

no its not, you guys aint listening, its wrong, it was ok in fifa08 and now its wrong in fifa09, the scottish online league (clydesdale bank PL) should have the flag of scotland just as it was in fifa08, now we have two leagues, the english league and the scottish league and both have the same flag (union jack), that is technically and morally wrong and sooner people, especially EA, take notice, the better.

Calm down!

You can't change stadiums or weather in Management Mode, only in exhibition matches (don't know about online). As for stadiums and weather, click on the left/right icons on the home team's side and you'll find the ability to select the stadium, the time of the day and the sky condition - don't know about rain. Either that or press the 'L1' button when on the home team selection and that should have the same effect. 'L1' or 'L2', it's one of those two.

Game speed can be found in the game setting menu.

If you're having problems trying to get your pc to download the latest patch2 then go over to the Fifa4fans website as you can download this direct from them. It does work - I'm using it.

Great work Paul and the other guys!

Fifa 09 is awesome now. This was a very good patch. Just fix the other bugs and it will be perfect. This is very, very great game now!

I have to agree, a lot was done in this patch. The game is still far from perfect but has become much better than before.

Do you think there's a chance of a 3rd patch to fix the other bugs? They don't bother me much now, but it would be nice to see them gone, especially the invisible players bug.

Hi all!
Please help me! I downloaded the new patches, and I can run Patch#2 , but when I want to run Patch#1 I get 'old file not found' message. What can I do to fix it?
Thanks.

Hello and welcome. Have you installed any patches that modify the game (other than graphics; sound might be ok as well)? If so, you'll have to uninstall them before you can install the 2nd patch.

I have no other patches just the 2 official ones. The seconds works well when I run it but the first one doesn't start.

You must run them in order though - patch 1 first then patch 2...

thanks ea now my online game doesn't work at all. i find your incompetence shocking. the online system is a shambles, u really need to sort it out. if not i think youll find next year many fifa fans converting to pes. you offer little help to novices, i am appalled that i have to ask other fans for links that ACTUALLY work.

biss-avfc is right, imagine if you were new to computing and had no-one to help with this. I would be very angry myself, it's just not fair on EA's customers.

You have a fair point there, but what can you do?

Well, that's interesting and thanks for the update...tbh, I'm unable to install the new patch and I got to say, EADM is kind of corrupt and needs some fixing.
