I bought my game, but non of the patches works on my windows Xp, even after I uninstalled game and made a new install and then tried to patch

I installed both patches, but when i go online the game crashes and gives me an error saying: "SKAppStart failed". Tried a fresh install of the entire game, but i still get the error. So frustrating. Anyone knows what to do about this?

PS: I also got that message that Simen236 posted, and i DO have the original version. I hate it, paid lots of money for it and now i can't even play online.

Ok is there anybody who can help? I win the game and when i look at leaderboards i was lose my rating and points to!!! It was happend twice to me and to my friend several times. How to defend of those cheaters?!!! And yes the game ends regulary!!!!

it is stopping at 38% and giving me this :
Old File Not Found.However, a file of the same name was found.No update done since file contents dont match.

right click the patch and right click on administrator if that does not help disable dua for the time been it could be the vista fire wall stopping it

try unistall the game and files reboot pc and reinstall game it should work and alow ports thru if you useing router

thats why you need 2 have the orignal disc 2 play online

In my register I have this EADM ContentId: fifa_2009_ukessedkptbr but when I try to install fifa_2009_ukessedkptbr_patch2 this errormessage popup:

"Old file not found, However, a file of the same name was found. No update done since contents do not match."

Sorry, I did't simen236's post but I need some help here to fix this problem .

i have downloaded the game through the ea download manager and it stalls on fifa09.exe maybe there are more files he stalls on but this is the first one he runs in to. when i download the patch 1 from page 1, it stalls at a bin file.

Hi i have a problem with fifa 09 and i hope someone can help me with that. i ve installed the game about 2 hours ago and the menus r Really really slow and i know its not cuz of my computer cuz with a nvidia graphics geforce 9500 GS, with an Intel Core Dup T9300 and with 3Gb of RAM memory i cant be my problem. is this has smthg to do with the frame rate ? how can i fix this problem? i hope someone can help mme in this one cuz its really ****ing me off.

Try ending unnecessary programs (eg. msn messenger, skype, etc) and see if that helps.

Hello!i have a problem with my fifa 09.i have bought it online and i have downloaded it from EADM.and everything is fine.i have installed the patches.a few days ago i have format the c: hard disk.i tried to re-install the fifa again using the files that i have downloaded that i saved in the D: hard disk.the game is installed but the patches doesnt install.it shows me this:
