Then you haven't done it correctly... Either you've altered some file after applying patch 1, or you applied some third party patch that alters a file that the patch is trying to update... Or you haven't got the correct version of patch 2

When using a crack, the correct steps are:
1. Format hard drive
2. Reinstall windows
3. Format again
4. Reinstall again
5. Chop off fingers
6. Jump off bridge
7. Rot in hell

Steps 1 to 4 can be skipped as they might lead to pain and suffering...

But seriously, you can't play online without a valid and legal cd key anyway - so I'd just give up trying if I were you...

@Niko: I have this most novel suggestion for you. It's revolutionary! It's called:

BUYING THE BLOODY GAME!

This isn't working for me.

I'm in Korea and have the options for either English or Korean.
I can't find a patch with my languages.
The 4 patches listed in this thread don't include my languages.......

Any help?

Also the EA down loader displays the message "FIFA 2009 is using this port" When I start the game with the "EA download manager" open.

When I start the game I don't even get a message asking if I want to update.......

Any help please I really want to play online.

What is really annoying me is that I know people here in Korea that are playing online with cracked copies and I have a legitimate one and can't play on line......

Well, what do you expect, with legitimate customers being treated like criminals by rubbish such as SecuCRAP? It's well out of order. A: to EA and all other companies that use these unfair (and by the sounds of it, downright illegal) copy protection methods. As I said before, there are games out there with no copy protection at all and guess what? They sell bucketloads!

When you run the game a message about a new update should come up. When the message comes up leave it open (i.e. don't click yes or no), then navigate to: C:\ProgramData\Electronic Arts\EADM\cache\{ Anonymous }

Then wait for the fifa_2009_ukfrdeitnl_patch.exe/fifa_2009_ukfrdeitnl_patch2.exe (or whatever yours is instead of ukfrdeitnl) file to download fully, it'll be 2.74MB (patch 1) or 9.03MB (patch 2) when it does. Then run the file... Should be all patched.[/QUOTE]

Should this work with Vista? I don't get the "C:\ProgramData\Electronic Arts\EADM\cache\{ Anonymous }" appearing in Vista but I do in Xp?

Ur right dude.Hopefully a patch will be released.
By the way those patches are not available via the ea download manager?!?
