when i start the game it seems to scroll down and right at teh same time in a never ending cycle,
without my controller plugged in, it seems to only scroll right in a cycle.
i dont seem to be able to stop it clicking right in the cycle, even without mouse and keyboard, it still clicks.

can anyone make me a block for a usb adaptor? the name is twin USB joystick
and i use the ps2 original controller, and its looks automatic press down, i cant choose from de top menu because it aways go down..

Saitek P2500 (Cyborg Force Rumble Pad) with drivers 6.0.4.1

Using the excel I got these lines of code and added them above the XBOX 360 Controller and finally made my controller work correctly with FIFA2009:

I saw your response in the other thread but i still prefer to play with this config (which was the older FIFA config, but not 2008!):
Key 4-> Trigger Run/call second defender
Key 2-> Pass/switch player
Any ideas?

and do what it says. Its a fix for Force Feedback in Vista for Saitek gamepads.But it also fixes the name of the gamepad.......

EA has made it impossible to use the configuration you mentioned. You simply can't split the call second defender and pass functions from each other, and if you have switch player on the same key as pass you'll only ever do one-two passes... I'm sorry

So i have the Nyko Air Flo Ex and i've worked it all out now thanks to your thread nut so thanks for the that.

The problem i found though is that i've had to put the data under '[Default Pad¦Default]' because if i just add a new code block then the Nyko Air Flo would just be recognized as 'Controller' (AKA default pad code) and not be listed as AIRFLO.

Do you have any idea why it's doing that please??

Hey mate, yeah that is weird - have you tried adding the code just below the keyboard and mouse block? Let me know if that works or not... Otherwise you can try it in different places through the file... Also, I'm sure it's probably right, but just double check the gamepad name in Control Panel! Anyway, glad you got it working

Didn't work either i'm afraid, even tried replacing the dafult pad name with airflo but that just crashed the game. And never mind double checking the name in game controllers i think i've quadruple checked it already lol

This happened with another controller aswell that i tried to add into the devdata file, that was just listed as 'Controller' aswell, dunno why.

Anyway at least i have 2 working controllers now to how i want them so thanks to you for that, i have a Madcatz Arcade stick controller that i'd like to add aswell, so i'm wondering if you could have 2 '[Default Pad¦Default]' codes so that i could add it aswell.

I got 2 problems with my Logitech Chillstream and FIFA 09.
1)If I play alone the gamepad works fine, but if I try to play with a friend who got a Microsoft Xbox 360 Usb controller we cannot have 2 different setting for our gamepads. All the changes I make affect my friend's controller as well. The problem seems that we got the same driver for two different gamepads.
2) when I play in connection Lan mode, I cannot use my the digital controller, but I'm forced to use the analogical one.
Could u help me, please.

Do they both come up as 'controller' in the FIFA controls setup screen? If they do, have you followed the instructions in the first post?

Didn't work either i'm afraid, even tried replacing the dafult pad name with airflo but that just crashed the game. And never mind double checking the name in game controllers i think i've quadruple checked it already lol

This happened with another controller aswell that i tried to add into the devdata file, that was just listed as 'Controller' aswell, dunno why.

Anyway at least i have 2 working controllers now to how i want them so thanks to you for that, i have a Madcatz Arcade stick controller that i'd like to add aswell, so i'm wondering if you could have 2 '[Default Pad¦Default]' codes so that i could add it aswell.

You could try having two 'default pad' codes

Not sure if it'd work though... Some pads the devdata just doesn't like for some reason, I don't know why... It seems that the Nyko Airflo and Mad Catz are the two that it likes the least, so its quite bad luck that you happen to have both!

No! They both come up as 'xbox 360 controller' (even though mine is detached as xusb gamepad ...) - that's the wired thing. No one of us experiences problems playing alone. It's just the combination of the 2 gamepads.
We started to use xpadder to solve the problem, but I don't think it's the right solution, cause for example I cannot control the keeper during the free kicks. But that's another issue.

I was thinking about using xpadder for my other controller but was worried about the fact that it'd be hard to map ALL the buttons to it, i'm sure there's a way though although i bet it's hella complicated

Something extra for the owners of Saitek P2500 (Cyborg Force Rumble Pad):

I used the excel file from nutunited succesfully and searching in the Saitek forum i found the link below. There is a registry hack to fix the Force Feedback in Windows Vista.
No Force Feedback/Rumble under Windows Vista - The Official Saitek Forum

Fully worked for me!!

By doing what the Saitek Support says at that thread, the name of the controller at the control panel changed to "Saitek P2500 Rumble Pad", which is the correct one. Now when I play Fifa, the ingame name of the gamepad is "Controller"!!! BUT... it still works like a wonder!!!!! I don't really understand why, but it does.

EA gave us something to wonder this time around... hope this is helpfull to anybody.

That isn't the case, its only unhappy with certain controllers for some reason

ahhh, it seems my problem is something to do with my playstation pad plugged into the usb adapter. The pad, without pressing anything on starting the game seems to be telling the game that down is being held down, and the adapter seems to be telling it that right is being held down. without the pad it just goes right, and unplugging the whole adapter makes the game work fine... but only with keyboard and mouse.

The adapter is dual, but with only one adapter plugged in.

Does anyone have a string which may work for my adapter and pad?

in control panel under game controllers, i ahve two devices listed, both are called
"Dual PSX-USB Adapter" --- status ok.

the adapter and pad both work finr on pes09, so they must be installed correctly.

any ideas ? :/

Nutunited, this thread seems to have fixed all of my problems. I have a Nyko Airflo EX. The only thing that didn't work was the name didn't show up in the game, but who cares. The block I used is as follows.

HI, I got 2 problems with my Logitech Chillstream and FIFA 09. 1)If I play alone the gamepad works fine, but if I try to play with a friend who got a Microsoft Xbox 360 Usb controller we cannot have 2 different setting for our gamepads. All the changes I make affect my friend's controller as well. The problem seems that we got the same driver for two different gamepads. 2) when I play in connection Lan mode, I cannot use my the digital controller, but I'm forced to use the analogical one.
