everything works except the right analog stick ( it does long passess)

can some of u guys/gurus write a code for my gamepad " Sweex Wireless Gamepad Vibration" with the same controls as a PS,

i already put this question in another topic...i'm sorry but i'm desesperate for an answer....i have a joystick...that works fine on FIFA, i just change the block of 'Logitech Dual Action' and change the name for my joystick that is 'USB Dual Vibration Joystick'...but there's a huge problem that makes me anger....the right stick stays with the axis inverted...when i put down it means that i put right...and others direction works the same...i mean, the vertical axis works like horizontal.....someone PLEASE know some soluction to this problem???????

Hi nutunited and others,

I've got a problem with my controler, i did everything in your post but still Fifa only reconises "Mouse" and "Mouse and keyboard". Controle is no option at all...

I use the Dutch version of Fifa. I do use a Thurstmaster controler 3-in-1.

Do you know a solution for my problem? Thanx in advance!

EDIT: PROBLEM FIXED!! Drivers were the problem I installed some new drivers and now the controller works, i'm going to test to get the right code blok

Thanks for this, my controller is now working. Only problem is when a player receives the ball it always bounces away from him, instead of him controlling it. Is there a way to fix this?

It is a right stick issue, you will have to try the other code blocks

I need help to change the buttons.

I want the 5 button to "call additional defender" and the
2 button to switch players when on defense.

The game recognizes the controller fine, but does not allow me to change the layout of the buttons.

Any help would be appreciated.

hi . i followed all the steps and i have managed to remap all my buttons . I have a usb gamepad ( in control panel it says " usb joystick ") . i don't have right or left analog sticks , so i put in that excel " 0 " to both and "1" to directional d-pad . now all my buttons are working , but when i got in practice mode and i try to sprint my player goes up-left as if i've pushed the right stick ( that i don't have ) and if i pass to a team-mate without pusshing sprint when he recieves the ball it goes the same up left kicking the ball in space . my code was :

I have the madcatz xbox360 controller i hae been reading your post's and i changed the name of the controller in the devdata.dat to xbox360 controller for windows, instead of the madcatz controller one.

But i still seem to be having the same problem as tipsy it skips two menu buttons and seems to think there are two controllers.

Do i have to do something else like map a code because tipsy said he just changed the name and it worked.

Help would be mch appretiated coz i cant even play the game untill i get this sorted.

Ok i have now gone through everystep i have the controller showing up and i have the buttons i want working.
The only to problems im having now is:
-Even though i have changed the name to xbox 360 controller for windows it is still skipping two menu buttons and thinking there is two controllers
-when a player recieves the ball it bounces off him.

All you should have to do is just delete any NEW code that you have added into the devdata file. Then rename the controller in registry to any of the following:

XBOX 360 For Windows (Controller)

XBox 360 For Windows (Controller)

Controller (XBOX 360 For Windows)

Make sure you copy and paste which ever one you choose exactly as it is. Also remember that you need both the devdata.dat AND the XPadLib.dll file in the input folder. Hopefully that should sort it, if not lemme know.

Need help. Cant find any solution. I fixed it once. But I had to reinstall the game and now it doesnt work. I dont know why:

And it doesnt work. It sais just controler and dont wont to change in the game. I tried everything. Please help me

Ok is there anybody who can help? I win the game and when i look at leaderboards i was lose my rating and points to!!! It was happend twice to me and to my friend several times. How to defend of those cheaters?!!! And yes the game ends regulary!!!!

Hi, I was asking (I have searched for it but did'nt find anything about it..) why it isn't posible to use the left and right trigger on my xbox 360 controller for windows in fifa 09??? .. played it before on xbox360.. and i miss it on the pc....

the first file you loaded up fixed my problem, thank you! my gamepad was made by ms-tech, its the model ls-15, so everybody who owns this gamepad too, try it! thx!!!
