Beeing in the states and have it I can tell you lag is bearable but not smooth (because all im playing vs is germans and iranis and what not) Corner bug is there I can score from the corner every time just bend it into the net.

Quitters will get on your nuts soo much, especialy when they quit and you get the loss. (Which is what all my losses are) its ridiculous.

So I dont get it, some people say its fixed, others say it isnt, what is with that? I always had a problem finding people from the U.S since soccer aint the most popular sport here. I guess that just made my mind, im going with PES this season, next season maybe back to Fifa. I've just heard way too many bad things on this game, its like they released a Beta test version or something waiting for us to reply and then work on updates, my lord.

The people here who are complaining are the ones who havent opened their ports and allowed firewall to allow fifa 09 to play online. ]

It still affects you if you have all your ports configured, because online I`d say 4 out of every 5 potential opponents can`t get into the game because they are not set up. I`ve hosted and joined games, I can see all the rooms in the lobby and the ticker and http all work fine, so I know I`m set up properly, but I still have to wait through all the "can`t press ready" stuff before I get someone who can play. So either 80% of online players are tech-nobs or we have an EA bug.

i am waiting for the 14th, too.
I always prefer getting the DVD rather than the DL. Just habit I guess.

Coming from FIFA 06, I'm really looking forward to FIFA 09. A growing number of the premier league players who I watch on the Fox Soccer Channel each weekend are not in the 06 version of the game, and that is my main reason for purchasing FIFA 09.

I've set up my ports proper and as long as I host the game, 80-90% of the time the matchup is successful.
