Scoop turn with the keyboard is quite a lot harder than the rainbow flick, I've only done it a couple of times... Quite funny actually, because the rainbow flick is meant to be for the more skilled players! Dribbling skill over 90 apparently, though I did it with my keeper once

Oh, and I really think this thread needs stickying... I'll PM Smart

I discovered another cool function in keyboard
that is right stick switching.
it is now possible with keyboard, as the goal keeper switching is now right shift u can select defender with left shift button as the direction
thanks to EA for giving this advantage on kb, but we want more advantages on kb as they are in gp also.

How do you make the changes to the tricks and all to match the guide? Or are these already standard for the game?

NutU,

Thanks for the reply. I got the change to the standard controls in game. But is there anything i need to do for the tricks, et al? Sorry to ask, I've in the past been just a load and play kind of guy and feel like I have missed something. Now I really want to get into the game further.

u dont have to release all the time..
u can practise this things..
run without sprint and try the tricks..
the rule is dont run with sprint while tricks..

here is the power meter of shooting, try to catch this concept while shooting and free kicks specially.

What do you mean? Like finesse shot? Many of the combinations are actually switch player + other key, not trigger run...

Well, like I said - finesse shot is switch player+shoot, aerial through ball is switch player+through ball

the finesse shot isnt working(is passes or shoots, faking a shot), but the chip through works! thanks! and another thing, how do i make a ground shot in a free kick(not a pass, but a real kick)

Well, do you have pass on the same button as switch player? (Fifa 07 style) That would cause that problem... Also it causes the problem of continual one-two passes all the time... Ground shot at free kick is switch player plus shoot...
