solution to all who have proplems with gamepad control

please read carefully and u will be able to do every thing with ur self

first u must know that the file which is responsible for the control is "\data\input\devdat.dat"

u will gona open this file with notpad

then you will find that the file contain some blocks all similar to that

the first line is ur gamepad name, if your gamepad wasnt in the file u can put it and it will gona work

the second line is the deadzone for sticks in ur pad

the third , fourth , fifth and the sixth lines is the controls
the third is the control in the menus
the fourth,fifth and sixth is the control is in the game
every line is contains some blocks like that ,4|7|2,
4 is the button number 7|2 is the function (button number in the file is decreased by 1 thats mean 4->5 in the real gamepad)

i will put the in game function of every block (line 4,5,6)
0|2 GK charge
1|2 shoot
2|2 pass
3|2 cross
4|2 standing takle
5|2 sliding tackle
6|2 through ball
7|2 tigger run
8|2 Esc
9|2 Team mental
10|2 switch player
11|2 Cancel/Dummy move
12|2 lock camera
13|2 sprint
14|2 pace control
15|2 goalio control

so to add all buttons function u have to have block similar to the big block above under ur gamepad name with all functions sitted to not have empty in the control option

u can assign every button function by putting the button number then "|" then one of those functions

i didnt mention some function which is move control function because i dont know exactly the meaning of every function but i know that

24|3, 25|4, 26|5, 27|6 is the right stick functions
22|5, 23|6, 20|3, 21|4 is the lift stick functions
18|21, 19|22, 16|19, 17|20, is the direction functions
its better to copy them from any block because there is no big change between different gamepads

i didn't also mention in menu control because i dont know all the functions but also its beter to copy from any other gamepad and it will not affect the game if the is thing wrong in it

simply who has an empty problem

add this

to the last three lines in the block of his pad


and for all who have a gamepad not supported by fifa add this block to ur devdat file just before ENDOFFILE

this is not the solution because i copied the devdata from my fifa08(where my gamepad works fine) and it didn't work..i have to mention that all my buttons work and my right analog but i cant set buttons for slidling\standing tackle, trough pass and trigger run.

in fifa 2008 there wasnt functions like (GK charge,tackles, tigger run)
so there is new 4 functions so u have 4 empty functions in contorl
and all functions number changed

i make it like ps control
it sould work great, u mast overwrite the exdisting block
i but the mental on the select button and u will not have shift key
if u wand the shift key i can replace the mental button or other button of ur choise

When I pass the ball the player who is receiving the ball controls it automatically going to the upper side of the pitch!
I can't understand how to solve it and I'll appreciate if you can give me the right configuration!

something is not good...i cant go right..when i push my left analog to the right the player does the bycicle and my right analog doesn work at all

when u copy the block from forums and best it in devdat there will be spaces in some postitions as result of copy from forum and paste in text file remove it please and try again
