Official PC Demo Feedback Thread

i just encountered a bug... i scored a goal and when the game continued it was a goal kick ...

That happened in my game as well. My opponent shot at my goal, the ball came of the inside of the post and into the goal, but the game reacted as if it went out for a goal kick.

I think that all of the "Pro/Advanced" gamers will agree with me that a port of the XBOX 360 version to PC would be extremely good as from what I have seen the PS3/XBOX 360 versions surpass PES as they bring a stable, planned and high quality REALISTIC game.

Unfortunately all this does not exist for us PC only gamers.

Let's hope that the EA team responsible will put some more planning and consider the PC gamers' feedback.

i hope this demo is semi-pro deff not world class
because its very easy
and also in Keyboard-mouse control its very easy to put the ball in the area u want thats is not fair to who use gamepads

Honestly , the demo version of FIFA 09 for the PC looked damnright dissapointing , but we mustn't panic . The full game is due to be released in October , right ? You'll have time to implement xbox360 graphics till then , right ? You'll keep your promises EA , right ?

Yes, no, and no. EA MIGHT fix some bugs here and there but probably the CDs are being printed right now as we speak...

U can't ask for so much more in such a short time, the graphics will remain the same either u like it or not, the only thing they'll do till launch is fix the bugs and eventually give the game one last polish regarding small details

I think it's personally pretty good, granted it's not next gen but I'll take it.

One small annoyance, I was fouled and was advantage until I passed the ball and it came back for free kick. Though not positive as it only happened once so far.

there is a bug where the ball hit the crossbar after a free kick and then went up and went trough the net on the upper side of the goal and goal was counted...!

lol you're funny. If they;

- fix that stupid nets,
- remove all 924 years old cutscenes or add new ones,
- add UNTUCKED shirts,
- remove the referees or add them a bit AI,
- add just colors to the crowd
- and resize the ball

I swear I will buy 20 copies and it will be the best soccer game ever. It's not that difficult just copy datas from EURO08 data folder which includes untucked shirts, quick throw inns, visible managers, colorful crowd etc. and paste to Fifa 09 data folder then add referee AI from FIFA2002 data folder, smaller ball from WC2006 at last it will be ok!

the field is little smaller isnt it?
there some problems:
fouls(penalties) are given for gentle touches some times
just played 1 time.
I'll figure out more now.

i think it 95% good because i dont care about the cut scene and ea did good with be a pro and graphics are elite you have to be a fool not to get this.but u people dont get mad about same cutscenes because u need to keep in mind that this is pc not ps3 and do we have the celebration thing

go play pes where ur heart belongs..no matter what fifa does it wont satisfy you..
the graphics is lot better than FIFA 08 and that is enough for this time i think
though some players really need change..like raul, shevchenko,etc..
they were better in eariler versions..

Can you believe that poster? LOL. I'm actually laughing. I was giving my honest opinion on the game. 2 people agreed, no-one else argued. So the majority of the 'community' actually agree with me. Are you Paul Hossacks son or something, probably an 8 year old, who knows nothing about game engines. Yes porting does take its fair share of time, but I've been waiting for 2 years for a decent Fifa on the PC, while people are playing Next Generation on a less powerful console. Take your flaming somewhere else. I'm giving my feedback. In my opinion, and I'm sure many others, Fifa 09 did not work this year and the Demonstration showed just that.

u're always licking fifa's lalalalala.u're satisfied with a poor game and that mean u're not a real gamer.you and others like you are the reason why ea producers make a poor game , they know somebody who played only fifa will buy their anual patch because it's more like a patch than a game.
