If these specs are official, well yes you are definetly going to be able to play the game. Yours specs match what it says in the minimum.
your AMD is in the recommended specs.

But I am quite sceptical about the RAM being for recommended. If minimum RAM is 1 GB its impossible for the recommended to be 1 GB RAM too! If minimum is 1 recommended should be 1.5 or 2 GB RAM.
Especially the VISTA thing it will require double. Oh by the way does your graphics card ATI 9550 have pixel shader 3.0?!?! Because unless you do not have 3 pixels you would'nt be able to play, it will crash instantly.

Go to Can You Run It? Powered by System Requirements Lab ---> now test a particular game. Analyze any game whether its compatible or not. Scroll down to video card in the analyzer check Pixel and vertex shader required .... you have ....
When it says you have this will show you whether you have 3, 4 or whatever.
I guess these specs on that website are just assumptions if there is RAM on minimum it is impossible that the RAM for recommended will be the same as the minimum!!!!

Your card has 256 MB Video RAM with shader model 2.0

If FIFA 09 supports 2.0 as the minimum, your safe to play it, absolutely no worries! However if it requires 3.0 then you won't be able to play it. I had the same problem last year with Splinter Cell Double Agent as it requires 3.0 shaders and I had an integrated graphics at that time which supported only 2.0 and I did however manage to install the game but when I clicked play game then the game crashed with an error message.

Anyways this is what happens when your card does not have enough shaders to run a particular game. It won't even run slow motion it will simply crash from the first second if you try to run it.

But if it don't work, don't worry there are plenty of graphics card in the market that are quite cheap and have shader model 4.0. If you get a card with shader model 4.0 you have no worries playing the latest games! But some games might not run smoothly depending on the cards FPS performance. But you don't have to worry with FIFA 09.

Every year we have people worrying about the specs of FIFA , will it run, etc after they get the game they forget about all these worries

Hmmm yes but its quite confusing. These specs look fake. Because look at the first site FIFA 09 System Requirements | FanFOTBAL.NET - mereu alaturi de echipa favorita It says hard drive 4 GB. Where as on the other site you just posted tells us that it requires 6.1 GB. www.FIFA.cz

So here is the confusion one site says it requires 4 GB and the other site tells us it requires 6.1 GB.
Now this sounds suspicious. I think those sites are making guess work. The official specs are different from this. Why does Hossack tells us that you need 3 GB RAM for recommended, for example?! and then when we look at these sites it tells us that the recommended is 1 GB RAM

There is some misleading information here....

Please wait for the system requirements to be officially announced then you have a better idea of what might the game require.

Well if that is why is never updated the English .. while Italy have updated yesterday .. when they released the Italian official cover ..
I believe that the requirements are more real than the site fifa.cz with 6 GIGA on HD.

Ofcourse they are more real because it comes officially from EA. I guess 6 GB is absolutely fine. Quite interesting though FIFA 08 took less hard disk space only about 3GB. So I guess there must be some sort of improvement since it takes double HD space.

The increase in required harddisk space makes sense because all the player textures and other graphics are at higher resolution now = bigger file size = require more space.

I hope that we'll be able too see player faces from a distance since the textures are high-res. Not like in previous years, when, if u watch a replay u have 2 zoom the camera 100% to recognize the player otherwise it's head and face are blurry, unclear...ugly

That's exactly what i am looking forward to!
Well hopfully since the players and graphics will be high textured it will make a massive different with the previous fifa series.

The new graphics will certainly shine and spark, due to the fact that previous fifa series graphics were pretty bad. Due to previous bad fifa series, graphical quality it will make fifa 09 look like a glowing diamond!
But had 08 been with good graphics no body would've noticed the improvement for fifa 09!
Thanks to bad 08 graphics, 09 looks WONDERFUL!

messi18 you should be able to play it on low to medium on 640x480, even my laptop with 8400m gs and core 2 duo, 320gb hdd is more powerful than your pc in every department. You should really upgrade your graphics to a 3650, 3850 or 4850, thats the point of having a desktop, to have better graphics power.
