I can't believe up until FIFA 07 anyone would dream of playing FIFA instead of PES.

Great retrospective here though, remember that FIFA 2001 and 2002 on PS2 used the PS1 engine, compare those two games to FIFA 08 on the PS2 and it seems like a completely different game and generation!

Imagine that FIFA 07 and 08 on 360/PS3 are today's equivalent of FIFA 2001/2002, imagine how good FIFA 2016 will be!

I thought fifa 2001 looked very good for it's time from what the gameplay shot showed me anyway. fifa 94 was classic

Your being rather too positive

PES was not invented by then, fool.

Before PES was invented all these years there was only FIFA in the market that's why everyones been playing FIFA since 94.
Where as PES was invented from year 2000 and it was in its developing stages, which is why FIFA has dominated all these years.
