Sounds like FIFA meets Harry Potter

But yeah that's what it sounds like (you move your mouse or use your mouse somehow to pull trick moves) ... Although I'd love to see some sort of a tutorial video or something to show us how this new mouse & keyboard controls will work.

Probably not because they wouldn't get so much money for the next Uefa Champions League 2007/2008 game which will also be current gen as far as I can see...They don't care to make it like you would like it,they care about money,to make two separate games with the same base...

Usually they include the leagues and cups with those numbers. It's basically what you see when you go to Tournament Mode. Not sure what the number is on FIFA 08.

A UEFA tournament is very unlikely to be licensed in a FIFA game, they're two different licenses, but anything could happen... and I personally really hope that all the big tournaments are licensed in just the one game.

I don't know ... I'm just describing how it sounds to me. Don't take anything I say as official

It could be like you play on keyboard as usual, but then you can use the mouse once in a while? ... a video/tutorial will surely clear everything up --almost all articles just say "using the mouse" but they don't go on to explain how.

that's a big PLUS for konami and their game...
That's probably the more important thing than anything new they could add and they knew fifa would never make such a thing.Of course fifa game can't even make the world cup for fifa which would be popular i'm sure,at least in the years when there is no world cup, when they wouldn't lose their very important amount of money on the separate game...

fifa can now add 20 more leagues but that's not enough, because they don't have the champions league...

the champions is useless ... is useful for konami only because konami has 3 licences and no ... france, italy .. Netherlands and other championships them without a licence ...

for the sport and little change .. it is better ... so can devote to the development of the next fifa ..

then the champions on fifa's always been career ...

There is nothing official about Champions League licence to Konami. However Uefa didn't allow EA SPORTS to insert Champions League in FIFA games because it wanted a game only for Champions League. So what make you think that Uefa will give Konami the rights to insert the UCL in Pes2009?
According to me, if the news is true, we will see a Champions League game by Konami, but not UCL in Pes2009!

you did not understand:

there will be the champions league in PES 2009 ,probably konami over pes 2009, will play only on the champions league like EA SPORTS .. for the Spanish liga is true ... the konami did not license the most ke has moved to EA .. konami will only italy, france and netherlands
