Heres some facts for yeah,my gamepad only 80% works, players knock into each other like there on valium, the goalkeeper is also on valium, the linesmen are on even harder drugs as they aint got a clue what day it is.I'm sure i can think of more facts about the game, just wish i could get this joypad working 100% then i'd know i'd enjoy the game more, but EA don't give a left monkeys testicle about my game issues.

Edit: your mods have gone AWOL aswell, great help that is,get your act in gear and sort yourselves out.

Rant over (for now )

Some complain that they bad of grass in sight. From the three herbs. In FIFA 09. Formula off beautifully, but from afar - bad.

Help them rushed the guy with a characteristic nickname Jah JunJoong. He corrected the grass. Consolidation of small and a bit shortened

Under no circumstances buy Fifa 2009. Worst football game ever. First i bought it and it was impossible for me to play nothing else but Practice because the game needs online authentification and at that time had no internet conection. So for the people who don't have internet it is practically impossible to play it. So i have spent my money on lalalala. I did try it at one of my friends and i have been badly dissapointed, lot's off errors(probably only edition made for eastern europe), no real feeling, to easy to score even in world class championship, so my oppinion is that i've "trown my money out trough the window" Shame that EA Sports makes a joke out of their costumers.

Hi and welcome. If you've bought the game mainly for online, you're spot on. If not, have a look at these threads, they do help and massively improve the offline game and two player offline as well:

Must have patches/mods for Fifa 09

I found the fix for the stamina/sprinting bug!!!

Online, on the other hand is FUBAR.

Unfortunately, the only level that offers a challenge is Legendary mode (and legendary keepers, you need both). Anything below that is far too easy.

As for online authentication, it's the way of things these days. I hate it, too. When Half Life 2 came out, I couldn't play it because I didn't have the 'net and the 'offline fix' didn't work. We can thank the pirates who hacked into Half Life 2 before it was ready and Valve for over reacting for this online authentication rubbish.

When authenticating the game try temporarily disabling your anti-virus or firewall, or add FIFA 09 to your firewall in case they are blocking the game access to the internet for it to authenticate. If you are still having problems after this I would suggest contacting Support.

It hasn't really 'enjoyed years of improvement' though, has it? Especially things like the heading physics!!
