Online squads

How do i change my online starting 11 and subs?
When i save my squads for offline play i can't upload them to online play and the system forgets the settings after i shut down. For example i like to use brazil with daniel alvez and Baptista insted of jose and gilberto and i like adriano as a sub. but in online i cant get it. any help would be appericated

thanks. I dont have to feel dumb for not knowing how. they should improve that. Can you download new squad updates at all?
