Default Disconnects at certain times??

Has anyone else noticed that there are more disconnects between about 7.30pm - 10.00pm ish??? I've been online this evening since 6.30ish and didn't have one for a good hour, and then couldn't get a full game after 7.40ish!! Even with friends who I normally have full games with. So flipping frustrated!!

Cheers Shelton for Napoli thing, I panicked when you went Napoli and couldn't think of a 4 star team, so went for Betis!! I find it well hard to see my players in green, won't choose them again!! Will prob go Udinese or Marseille next time!!

I had that a couple of times, certain times of night where you get so many disconnects!

This happened to me last night serveral time, I had 2 full games before 6.30 and I managed to play 2 full games between 6.30 and 7.45.( had to watch the Celtc match on Setanta)

What I did notice was the amount of traffic in the net between 7-10pm was rather busy but again its all EA having S***Y servers.

This is for Kenuf. I know how you feel mate with the wife watching Home and Away and Hollyoaks My wife does the exact same the B*t*h. So that is what I went out and bought myself a data projector and set it up in my games room and WOW its like your sitting in the crowd controlling the players.

I think disconnection problem become massive when 300+ people online i played an average like 1 game out of 20. I tried substitute then kick the ball over opposition goal line did not help but it does help when about 100-200 players online OR LESS. IF 300+ FORGET IT. I will try not to waste my time anymore if i cant get 1 full game out of 10
EA SORT IT OUT PLEASE

I've tried to play a couple of matches and it disconnects and it has been between 1900 and 2200. It's good to know (though it still is frustating) that someone else is having the problem.

I think it happens more during a game played in the rain. I can't remember ever finishing one of those. Graphics related?

^This

Rain definetly screws up the game, I don't even like it either, and it happens quite often when you choose random.

I think uts nothing to do with rain. Its just fking EA cant do their job properly. I hope they will go bust as soon as possible . I will definely will think twice before i buy any other game made by EA in the future. I had such a frustrating expirience online (disconnects , goalkeeper errors, unrealistic scoring, recover times so fk slow. offside needs sorting out too,) Its like terminally ill EA baby and its not even the first version of the game it would be understanable if it(FIFA 09) was. Fat greedy cats sitting on their lalalalala and do nothing Multi billion company. No wonder Konami exploit them very well and push them aside with their PES game well done . I hope EA will lose more custumores in years to come
Good luck

I've been keeping an eye on this and it seems to me that the more users there are logged into EA servers the worse it becomes. I have found that when there's under 150 users I finish a lot more games. The weekends are terrible until late at night or early morning.

When the users get up to about 350 things crash.

I would also point out the work around for the goal kick error that Shelton or theRealJuninhoNL have advised us about. It does work about 90% of the time.

Default Disconnection of FIFA09 Wii

Have you tried this?:
| Nintendo - Customer Service | Wii - Firewall/Antinvirus/Antispyware/Adware Compatibility Info

Allowing TCP and UDP Traffic:

The Wii console may require unrestricted access to several sites across various ports and protocols to function correctly. These addresses and ports vary, and may change in the future without notice. Many software firewalls restrict outbound access. Only if your firewall blocks outbound traffic do you need to enable this traffic:
  • TCP:
    Allow traffic to all destinations on ports: 28910, 29900, 29901, 29920, 80, and 443
Seems to work. Always hard to know though as you don't know if the person you play against has the same configuration

already been tried, it doesnt do anything, its a problem with EA servers for fifa. anyone who has "Grand Slam Tennis" will agree. there's nothing we can do but wait for fifa 2010.
also all other online games work perfectly so it cant be a problem with the router

They took all are are problems into account and fixed it for Grand Slam Tennis. So FIFA 10 should be fine.

Well my settings are good. I'm looking forward to FIFA10 if the network shenanigans have been worked out. I enjoy 09 but I do get angry with all the network errors.

Especially when I'm behind and a network error occurs
