FIFA09 online play has some major software bugs in the code for sure (and/or bugs in their server software).

I suspect in order to release the product on time any software crash was simply reported as a "Network Connection" thereby shifting the blame on something else.

If you're lucky you can go through the majority of the game with all shots on target.
The leads to a situation where the first person to score can deliberately take another shot from further out just to miss the target and win the game by default.

Interesting they have set some kind of threshold for awarding a win upon cralalalala seems to be say 15 minutes onwards.

It is most likely EA are aware of this problem because they will decide which bugs are a priority to elimate before launch..

For some gaming platforms bugs can be fixed by downloading patches. For the Wii, as far as I see the Wii updates only apply to the core Wii software itself and not the game.

I like the game, a lot of effort has gone into it. Shame about this online issue. I hope it is sorted for Fifa10.

Hi folks ,ive been trying to play tonite between 730 and 830 and out of 9 games either it is a server issue where connection is lost or people are just lalalalalaing about...extremely frustrating...longest game i had was a full firsthalf...my user name is daddyp316 by the way

MAN guys whats wrong with yu long time ago made a thread that banned out the goalkick error just sub and shot over the opponent goalline not side line or you own goalline opponent when the sub comes there is no disconnection with goalkicks

Good News the servers ar fixed for EA's latest game (Grand Slam Tennis) and it use the same servers

i bought that this week, i meant to say that, the servers work perfect on Grand slam tennis yet its exactly the same i guess its good news for fifa 10
