Maby if you have the same language selected it works better.

Also if it do works true friend system we can setup a Online League like they tried in FIFA 09 Wii Online League
i dont mind running it and updateing it on my page like i do with my friends on Wii Fifa 09 altho we only played one match so far and everytime there comming now (see) dont wand to play footbal

Bah whel i did some test with just random people online (they where probly not happy)
There is this odd thing, becouse i wane record good match i put my wii language settings on English.
Doing this makes the game crach alot more.... o.O i even get craches on a goal or just random.
Also forwarding posts in my router make it that i get more disconnect from the game on a goal kick.

If a goal kick comes aim and press A, this help a little bit, you do stil disconnect sometime but less than with you goal kick with a swing.

these are my tests i did.
i this didnt tried playing vs someone in friends mode.
i stil like to hold a Online League

I'm not a massive gamer but i do like my footie games. Played FIFA 05 to death.. and still do. Got FIFA 09 as really liked the idea of being able to pick out passes and open space using the wii remote. Seems a lot of the problems 05 had are still present in 09. Players recovery times when on the floor and the standing around idly watching clouds whilst the ball is feet away. Love the fact the players (especially the full backs) aren't shagged out after a few games. Its odd how they've removed the ability to switch kits in manager mode, and as ever, the commentary is annoying as hell. i seriously don't know why they bother, if i hear Andy sodding Gray say "he didn't hold back with that sliding challenge but i think he's come off worse, he might have to come off" i'm going to, in a very british way, stab someone.

The failure of the online game is more a crying shame than an annoyance. its such a good idea poorly executed. come on EA Sports, you can do better than this!

p.s

What about an option that lets the clubs on the game follow the "real world" transfer market, and when an unheard of becomes successful, include them.

hey stuart66

I have never heard of this problem. Have you registered your email address at EA? I did this to get my account so if you have not done this that is your problem in you have I have no idea unless you have a typo (mispelt email address) missing coma, dot etc.

Hi

I used to be able to play online with no problems at all. But from last Monday I can now no longer play Fifa online. It connects to a player but as soon as I pass the ball, the connection drops. All my other games work online no problem.

Cheers for the reply. Before last Monday i would have the odd time where it would loose connection. But since then I have not been able to play at all. If i'm kicking off, I can wait a few seconds and see the other player running around ready to play. But as soon as I kick off, give it 3 seconds or so and I get the connection error every time? Just to add, I have also tried another couple of Routers just to make sure that is not the problem. Same if the other player is kicking off also.

Cheers

hey kenboon,

You may have just been very lucky with the other players with regards to your connection issues, I am sure that other gamers have the same problem but again its all down to luck. I game get roughly 10-15 games without getting a connection issue then bam netowrk errors some dont. even make it to kick off.

Has the disconnection problem been sorted out yet?
I am relatively new to this game and managed a few online games then the dreaded connection issues started.

For the past week I have been furiously trying to get a whole game in. Im glad in a way that I stumbled upon this forum (I thought I was the only unlucky mug experiencing this).

I have tried everything listed on this thread, even tried wiping my lalala on the screen - it didnt work.

Come on you Hammers.

I've accepted the connection problems and enjoyed the manager mode, but after about 5 seasons I've now encountered the game freezing and a loud buzz. The game has to bne unplugged and you start back at your last manual saved position (it developed at the end on a season beating Chel*** in the FA Cup final and then beating M*nU in the charity shield (does Fergies influence travel further than ol* Tra**ord time keeping?). I've read a few posts and it seems that once this problem starts it persists. Has anyone got a solution?

One other annoyance is the Team colour clashes ie both in blue, or both red. Is this solved with FIFA 10?
