FIFA Manager 09 - transfer saved game to new machine

I have upgraded my computer and want to transfer my saved game onto the new one, dont want to lose it all. Any ideas? I have tried to copy the file into the "games" subfolder in program files but does not seem to work (I am sure I did the same thing a few years ago with fifa manager 06).

Copy to USB then place it where it should go?
