Close win but great report... I was wrong with my prediction although I did say Moutinho to be involved in 1 of the goals.

It would be good if you included the Man of the Match with an interview with him at the end But anyway good report

Joăo Moutinho Interview - Internazionale TV

Just days after scoring 2 vital goals for Internazionale, new signing Joăo Moutinho talks to Inter TV about life in Milan, what it felt like to be a fan favourite in such a short amount of time, and much more. The interview in full is printed below.

------------------------------

Inter TV: Welcome, Mr. Moutinho. It's great to have you here!

Moutinho: Thank you, I'm glad to be here.

Inter TV: First off, let's talk about your last game for Internazionale, the 2-1 win over Palermo. You scored a brilliant free kick to give your team the points, how did that feel?

Moutinho: It was an amazing feeling. As soon as the referee awarded us the free kick, I just thought to myself, ''This is going in.''. I knew I could score it so I didn't feel the pressure too much. When I scored, I remember the fans going wild and my team mates running over to congratulate me. That's a great feeling.

Inter TV: That wasn't your first goal though! You scored a penalty on your debut, that must have been a great achievement for you personally?

Moutinho: Yes, the manager told me to take penalties in training and after he saw me scoring, José immediately told me I would be taking spot kicks against Lazio, should there be any. We got one and I was happy that I scored. It's always good to score goals for your new club early on.

Inter TV: Was moving to Internazionale a difficult decision?

Moutinho: Not really because I had many great seasons at Sporting and the time was right to move on so when José Mourinho spoke to me, my mind was set on Inter.

Inter TV: So you're happy with life at the club?

Moutinho: Yes, very happy. I'm enjoying playing with my team mates, they're great lads. Ricardo Quaresma plays here also so it's nice to have another Portugal player at the club. Also, it helps that José Mourinho is Portuguese because I can communicate easily with him.

Inter TV: Has your manager told you anything about adding more players to the current squad?

Moutinho: No, that is nothing to do with me to be honest. If the manager feels the need to sign players then he will do so.

Inter TV: Okay, that's understandable. Are you expecting to play a big role in the club's season?

Moutinho:
I'd certainly like to! I've started both Serie A games this season and scored 2 goals so that's a positive sign. If I keep performing at this level then I'm sure the manager will include me. That would be great.

Inter TV: It's clear that you're already a massive hit with the Inter fans. Is that important to you?

Moutinho: Definitely. The fans are great. They really help you when you're going through a tough time or if you need to win. Against Palermo, they really helped my confidence and they were delighted when I scored the free kick. I'd like to keep that good relationship with the fans.

Inter TV: The Champions League is a trophy Internazionale haven't won in ages. Is the club making that their priority this season?

Moutinho: Possibly. Everyone at Inter really wants to win the Champions League. It's the trophy every European club wants to win and Inter hasn't done that in many years so it'd be great to end that by winning it this season.

Inter TV: You face Deportivo La Coruna in matchday 1 of the group stages. Good luck in that match and we hope to talk to you again soon.

Moutinho: Thank you very much!
