September to October (12.10) review

http://i563.photobucket.com/albums/ss78/Nzgangster/Italy%20Seria%20A/inter.png

07.09 Serie A
AC Milan 1-2 Inter

8th minute Ibrahimović
75th minute Gourcuff
91th minute Cruz

With a derby game to start of the month Milan and inter both fielded full strength sides in hope that they would get all 3 points. The game started brightly and you could see hate in the eyes of the players, there would be no favours today. After only 8 minutes amazing work from Muntari and Cruz broke the Milan defence down. This let Muntari let a shot away but it hit the top post, yet to inter's luck Ibrahimović was able to get the rebound and tap it into a empty net. After this goal everyone expected a high goal scoring game but everyone was left disappointed after it toolalalalail the 75th minute for Milan when Gourcurff tapped in a rebound after kaka's solo effort ended it hit into the post. When the game looked like it was going to end in a draw Kaka and Pato went into another last ditch effort and they broke into the box but because of pato; s mistiming he was unable to score the winner. He kept his head down as the fans booed him. After a goal kick from inter, Cruz seemed like he was the devil because he stepped past every single defender and let off a screamer into the net. This made the fans go crazy as Inter won the game in extra time.

14.09 Serie A
Napoli 0-3 Milan

23th minute Inzaghi
28th minute Kaka
88th minute Pato

Milan came out into the field with the same side that lost to inter 2-1 and Napoli came out with an unchanged side. With the game barely starting Milan scored in only 23 minutes after Pato broke into the box and let off a shot that hit the top post to Inzaghi who only had to tap it in. Napoli looked shocked after that early goal but they kept fighting but to no avail as only 5 minutes later Kaka scored again after he blasted a shot from the left corner of the box which just went flying past the Napoli goalkeeper. The game went quite until the 88th minute where a breakthrough by pato led him to a goal scoring situation and he made no mistake this time and he slotted home. If only he did that against inter.

http://i563.photobucket.com/albums/ss78/Nzgangster/Italy%20Seria%20A/palermo.png

21.09 Serie A
Milan 3-0 Palermo

43rd minute Pato
65th minute Kaka
70th minute Kaka

Milan came out with the same side that destroyed Napoli hoping for the same result. Palermo went out with the same side that lost the game before. The game started slowly as no side could register a shot until a corner by Palermo when Fabio let off a stunning header to go right on top of the post. On the goal kick off this corner Pato was able to do a one - two with pato because of this Pato was able to score and let Milan get the lead in the 43rd minute. In the second half Kaka was able to let of a screamer from 30 yards out that went zooming into the net. He did this again only 5 minutes later. Palermo was unable to pass the ball any more as Milan was all over them. Pato got another chance in the 86minute but he was unable to react fast enough.

http://i563.photobucket.com/albums/ss78/Nzgangster/Italy%20Seria%20A/siena.png

28.09 Serie A
Siena 0-1 Milan

87th minute Pato

Boring game Boring goal I CBF to write about this. I got lucky after a kaka shot bounced of the goalkeeper to pato and he scored in the 87th minute.

http://i563.photobucket.com/albums/ss78/Nzgangster/Italy%20Seria%20A/lecce.png

05.10 Serie A
Milan 3-0 Lecce

23th minute kaka
48th minute Pato
65th minute Pirlo

With Milan on a winning streak so far of 3 games they carried on their great form as they were able to get goals from kaka, pato and Pirlo. These goals were brilliant as Milan kept the ball for 76% of the time. The build up play was immense as the ball went from player to player in mere nanoseconds as Lecce couldn’t even touch the ball even when it was in their box. Milan took the lead in this game in 23 minutes after kaka tapped it in after Pato, Pirlo and Gattuso passed it between them for almost 15 minutes inside the box. The second goal came in the 48th minute after Pato was able to score a curler from the right side of the box. Pirlo finished the game with the 3rd goal after he scored a header from a kaka cross.

http://i563.photobucket.com/albums/ss78/Nzgangster/Italy%20Seria%20A/juventus.png

12.10 Serie A
Juventus 0-1 Milan

67th minute Pato

The build up to this game was crazy because both these teams had the same amount of everything. Same draws, same wins the same lost and even the same Goal difference but Juventus didn’t have Pato and he was the only thing that was the difference as he was able to score the winning goal in the 67th minute after he stepped past Chiellini and placed his shot right past Buffon. This wasn’t to say Juventus had no real chances as they did scored 3 times but they were all called offside. Amauri would off score a prefect hattrick today if it wasn’t for the offside.

Season Update

19.10 Serie A

AC Milan 1-2 Atlanta

56th Pato
65th Doni
68th Doni

Milan came out playing for a win to go to second place in front of inter. While Atlanta needed a point to get out of the "danger zone". The game started quietly with Milan controlling position the whole time. After some smart play by Kaka he was able to get into a shooting position but his shot hit the top post into the feet of the Brazilian pato who only had to slot it in. Atlanta responded quickly with 2 goals from doni after he broke past the Milan defence twice in only 10 minutes. Milan was shell-shocked and looked to get back into the game but to no avail. The game was truly over in the 78min when kaka was sent off after a bad tackle on doni.

26.10 Serie A
Bologna 0-2 AC Milan

56th Pato
76th Seedorf

Milan came out with the same side that lost to Atlanta but because of kaka being sent off the last game, seedorf had to take his place right behind Pato. This worked wonders as Seedorf and pato were able to get one each in this very one sided game. Pato got the first goal in 56th minute when he broke into the box and curled the ball right past the bologna goalkeeper. Seedorf doubled the lead in the 76th minute when he shot from a 35 yards out. This shot was pure power and it went flying past every single player on the field. How can this be his first start all season?

08.10 Coppa Nazionale
Round Two
Mantova 2-4 AC Milan

55th Kaka
63rd Kaka
65th Godeas
70th Kaka

85th Godeas
93rd Ambrosini

Milan started a b team with kaka in his normal role. This was truly a brilliant game; you could not tell their teams were leagues apart as both teams were scoring right and left. With the first coming from Kaka after he stepped past 2 defenders and let off a shot from about 10 yards out. He did scored again when Ambrosini playing out wide crossed the ball right into the kakas foot that was no less than a yard out of the goal. He could off tap it in but he did a scissors kick into the goal. Mantova didn’t stop trying like bologna in the last game because they came back after godeas took the ball of a Silva in the 65th minute and all he had to do was slot it past Abbiati. In the 70th minute Kaka got his hattrict after he curved in his free kick from just outside the box. This was when Mantova looked like they were at their breaking point but Godeas didn’t want to give up and this paid off because in the 85th minute he scored again after Abbiati passed it right to him. Ambrosini scored a penalty late in the game after a stupid tackle from a Mantova player.

4.11 Coppa Nazionale
Round Two
AC Milan 3-1 Mantova

2nd Pato
72nd Pato
92nd Kaka

Milan came out with a full strength side today while Mantova came out with the same line up as before. The class from Milan players showed directly after Ambrosini gave a through ball to Pato and he broke into the box and only had to slot it past Handanovic. After this goal everyone got ready for a high scoring game but it wasn’t until the 72nd minute when Pato got his second after he got his head onto a kaka cross. Milan scored again in the 89th minute when Kaka received a through ball from seedorf. Kaka only had to shoot it into the net to make it 3-0 but he tried too much and hit the post but he made no mistake when he got the ball from pato again in the 92nd minute when he was in the same situation.

16.11 Serie A
Ac Milan vs Reggina

22min Carmona
52min Di Gennaro
59min Pato
84min kaka

23.11 Serie A
lazio vs Milan

3min Zarate
42min Seedorf
45min Rocchi
70min kaka

30.11 Serie A
Udiniese vs Milan

28min kaka
37min pato
57min Gourcuff
81min kaka

Player of the update

Sébastien Frey
Team: Fiorentina

Frey may not be keeping the most clean sheets but that's his not fault as his teams defence has been very shaky lately. Frey has a superior save % than anyone in the league so far and that is why he is in team of the update
