Wessecito
Name: Wessecito Wiles
DOB: 12/25/1982
Birthplace London
Nationality: English
Background: Wessecito signed on at the beginning of last season for the Hoops and they have prosperred greatly since his arrival. QPR found monumental success under Wessecito, handedly winning the Coca-Cola Championship and earning promotion to the Premier league. QPR is Wessecito's first job as a manager, yet his previous experience greatly benefits the international style of the Premier League. Previous to working at QPR, Wessecito worked as an intern for London rival Chelsea FC, and after that he worked closely with Luis Aragones and the Spanish National Team. He served as an assistant focused on player development, and in doing so, spent a lot of time with youth players as well as knowing La Liga quite well. He worked closely with Aragones during Spain's 2008 UEFA Euro Cup victory, and his success ultimately landed him the QPR job. His current contract ends after the 2011 season, and Wessecito has high goals for his team.

Age: 18
Nationality: Welsh

Gerard Pique
2
Rating: 80
Position: CB
Age: 22
Nationality: Spanish
Height: 6'4"
Background: Pique was Wessecito's very first signing after being promoted this season. Wessecito and Pique have a close professional relationship as a result of the Manager's time spent with the Spanish national team. Wessecito views Pique as the cornerstone of his defense and is looking forward to his future development.

Michael Mancienne
CAPTAIN
8
Rating: 75
Position: CB
Age: 21
Nationality: English
Height: 6'1"
Background: Mancienne was Wessecito's first ever signing for QPR, and he has been stellar at the back ever since. Signed permanently from Chelsea, Mancienne has established himself as a premier centre-half and has set the foundation on which Wessecito has built the club.

Fitz Hall
5
Rating: 80
Position: CB
Age: 28
Nationality: English
Height: 6'4"

Lorenzo de Silvestri
12
Rating: 76
Position: RWB
Age: 21
Nationality: Italian
Height: 6'1"
Background: Wessecito signed the promising young full-back soon after his arrival at the club last season with the anticipation that de Silvestri would be a fixture at right back for years to come. Although he has had a good spell at QPR, his spot has recently been called into question after a lengthy run of bad form, and rumors are circulating that Wessecito could be looking to offload the youngster in the winter transfer window.

Royston Drenthe
25
Rating: 76
Position: LWB
Age: 22
Nationality: Dutch
Height: 5'5"
Background: Drenthe and Wessecito built a friendship with one another during Wessecito's time spent at Real Madrid while working with the Spanish National Team. When Drenthe became tired of the lack of top-flight football with Madrid, he requested that Wessecito come to Spain and get him, which is exactly what he did last winter. Since then Drenthe has established himself as the first-choice left back for Wessecito and looks poised to aid QPR as they move forward in the Premier League.

Guilherme Santos
22
Rating: 73
Position: LWB
Age: 21
Nationality: Brazilian
Height: 5'8"
Background: Guilherme was signed on at the start of Wessecito's career as manager and has been used effectively as a utility man ever since. He is an excellent passer of the ball and he has no problem pushing the play and joining the rush.

Rafael da Silva
23
Rating: 69
Position: RWB
Age: 18
Nationality: Brazilian
Height: 5'8"
Background: Rafael is a recent Wessecito signing, but has already generated a lot of excitement at the club. He has already established himself as a versatile player on the right wing, as well as an excellent crosser. He is pushing hard for first team football, and it looks like his efforts will soon be rewarded, he simply needs to adjust his physicality in order to fit into the style of the Premier League.

Damion Stewart
3
Rating: 68
Position: CB/ RB
Age: 28
Nationality: Jamaican
Height: 6'3"
Background: Stewart was at the club before Wessecito's arrival and was barely able to stay on at the club. Although he had a rocky start, Damion has since became a reliable backup for Wessecito and has earned time as a right full-back as well as in central defense.

http://www1.pictures.gi.zimbio.com/Coventry+City+v+QPR+WpK1KtkNdJPl.jpg

Peter Ramage
15
Rating: 73
Position: CB
Age: 25
Nationality: English
Height: 6'1"
Background: Ramage has done well since Wessecito's hiring, earning himself some quality time in the first team as an alternate centre-half. He has a very good sense of the game and can be relied upon to provide defensive stability even in times of turmoil. How long he stays at the club is debateable though, as Wessecito reportedly transfer listed him this Summer, only deciding to keep the Englishman on at the club.

Simon Kjaer
30
Rating: 61
Position: CB
Age: 20
Nationality: Danish
Height: 6'3"
Background: A new signing at the club, Kjaer found a bit of success in Serie A last year, and has since been given a chance at Premier League experience by Wessecito. His appearances have been limited so far for the R's, but he is expected to succeed at the club and in the future.

Midfielders

Yoann Gourcuff
19
Rating: 78
Position: CM
Age: 22
Nationality: French
Height: 6'1"
Background: Gourcuff is a brand new signing at Loftus Road, and Wessecito is confident that he will strongly influence the QPR midfield. He is a top international prospect and will contribute immensely in the midfield for the first team. He provides a new approach in the midfield and his potential for success is quite large.

Adel Taarabt
13
Rating: 71
Position: CAM
Age: 20
Nationality: Moroccan
Height: 5'11"
Background: Taarabt is the key to the QPR midfield and has been for the past year. He is a magnificent passer as he commands the middle of the pitch and is able to create a number of opportunities in attack. He is also an excellent shooter, he provides the Rangers with a confident and calm midfielder who can easily join and influence the attack.

Wayne Routledge
20
Rating: 72
Position: RM
Age: 24
Nationality: English
Height: 5'7"
Background: Routledge is a new signing to the club and he has already made a monumental influence in the first team. He has come in confidently to his role on the right side of the midfield and adds an excellent aspect to the attack, joining in the rush and working well with the front men. Wessecito has already expressed how happy he is with the young man and he is confident Routledge will play a big part in their success in the Premier League.

Danijel Pranjic
4
Rating: 77
Position: LM
Age: 27
Nationality: Croatian
Height: 5'7"
Background: Pranjic is the newest addition to the left side of Wessecito's midfield, and has seemingly fit in quite well already. Going against Wessecito's tendencies, Pranjic is quite a bit older than his normal targets, and will be looked upon to make an immdiate impact and push the attack in order to create opportunities to score.

Dani Parejo
7
Rating: 71
Position: RM
Age: 20
Nationality: Spanish
Height: 5'11"
Background: Dani Parejo has become a serious option for Wessecito on the right side of the midfield. Wessecito has previously stated that he thinks Parejo is the hottest prospect n the squad, noting that his touch and ball handling skills remind him of those of Lionel Messi. He will alternate with Routledge this season and will surely shine in the UEFA Cup.

Mikele Leigertwood
VICE CAPTAIN
6
Rating: 70
Position: CM
Age: 26
Nationality: England
Height: 6'2"
Background: Leigrtwood has been in the middle of the QPR side for some time now, and Wessecito saw no need to take him out of his spot. He is a strong physical midfielder who sucks up the pitch and has an incredible knack for gaining possession of the ball. His strength will be a great asset for the Hoops as they push towards European glory.

Akos Buzsaky
10
Rating: 76
Position: CAM
Age:27
Nationality: Hungarian
Height: 5'11"
Background: Buzsaky has long been the top creative player in the QPR side, and although that has changed somewhat, he has still found himself a constant contributor for the R's. Wessecito recently moved him inside from the right midfield after the success of Dani Parejo and he has continued to create well, albeit in a different capacity.

Martin Rowlands
14
Rating: 67
Position: CM
Age: 30
Nationality: Irish
Height: 5'7"
Background: Rowlands is another lad whose been at the club for quite some time now, yet since Wessecito's arrival his role has been notably reduced. He has shown good resolve in the midfield and although his weaknesses are more eaily exposed in the Premier League, he is the complete player and continues to be an asset to the club.

John Bostock
26
Rating: 65
Position: RM/LM/CM
Age: 17
Nationality: English
Height: 5'11"
Background: Bostock is another of Wessecito's signings and has been a surprisingly good addition to the side. Originally signed to the Academy, Bostock quickly ascended the ranks into the first team due to injury, and hasn't left since. He's a talented scorer and works as hard as anyone in the midfield.

Lee Cook
17
Rating: 69
Position: LM
Age: 26
Nationality: English
Height: 5'9"
Background: Purely an auxilary player, Cook has managed to remain in the team since Wessecito's arrival as he has consistently provided solid contributions when called upon in instances of dire need. There is speculation that he won't last at the club past the winter transfer window, but as of yet there is nothing to suggest that his exit from the club is imminent.

Forwards

Moussa Dembele
16
Rating: 80
Position: ST
Age: 21
Nationality: Belgian
Height: 6'1"
Background: One of Wessecito's first signings at the club, Dembele has made his name at QPR in no time at all. He helped lead the Rangers to victory in the Championship last term, and early indications show that his form in the Premier League will be even better. He started his QPR career playing mostly in the midfield on the left side, but Wessecito has since groomed him into a tried and true striker. Wessecito sees Dembele as a key player and possibly the future of the Queens Park Rangers.

Kenwyne Jones
21
Rating: 80
Position: ST
Age: 24
Nationality: Trinidad & Tobago
Height: 6'2"
Background: Jones was one of Wessecito's first signings upon promotion to the Premier League, and he has been a valuable asset since. He's scored a number of key goals for the Hoops already, and is esteemed around the club as a clutch finisher. His size and strength provide an excellent mix of skills when paired with Dembele or Agyemang, and this will prove a valuable asset as the team moves forward.

Patrick Agyemang
11
Rating: 77
Position: ST
Age: 28
Nationality: Ghanaian
Height: 6'1"
Background: Agyemang has stood out as a top striker at the club ever since Wessecito's arrival. His first campaign under Wessecito in the Championship was a great success, as he had a league high 33 goals. He is an extremely fast player on the pitch, and the Premier League has witnessed a remarkable increase in his already blinding pace. Although he's begun to get on in years, Wessecito sees him as a strong part of the side and his future at the club is expected to continue long into the future.

Dexter Blackstock
9
Rating: 72
Position: ST
Age: 23
Nationality: English
Height: 6'2"
Background: Blackstock was one of the biggest creative influences in the side during their winning season in the Championship. He is an excellent passer in tight spaces and a magician when sending other strikers through on runs. Since being promoted to the Premier League and Jones being signed, Blackstock's first team football has decreased significantly, though when he is on the pitch he has an extremely keen nose for the goal.

Ben Sahar
27
Rating: 70
Position: ST
Age: 19
Nationality: Israeli
Height: 5'10"
Background: Sahar was initially at the club years ago on loan from Chelsea, and last winter Wessecito made the move official. Sahar has shown a creative and pacy influence at the top end of the pitch for the Hoops. He is young, and Wessecito and his staff feel that he will be an excellent top-flight player in the years to come.

Bostock's been great, he's been a huge part of my midfield, gourcuff has yet to settle into the squad

i actually am not really liking de silvestri, he really doesn't quite fit in with the system, i'm going to list him for sale this winter, im gonna try and bring in Glen Johnson, or maybe wait until the summer window and go after sagna or bosingwa, as ill certainly qualify for the champion's league.

Wessecito: "We will qualify for the Champion's League!"
QPR manager Wessecito recently sat down for an exclusive interview with our own Royce Clayton after a long break for international qualifying, and spoke about his expectations for the future of his club. He is extremely confident, as is his side, and it's getting difficult to not believe every word that comes out of his mouth. At press time, the Hoops foudn themselves in third place in the Premier League with 4 wins, 4 draws, and 1 loss.

Royce Clayton: You had great success last year in the Championship, how do you think your team will fair this season in the Premier League?
Wessecito Wiles: Well, I think we're a good side, not a great one, we still have a lot of work to do, yet I think we're going to be very successful. I work closely with the lads, and I gather that they are all very confident as well. The competition we're facing this year is obviously a lot better than last year, but I think that I've put together an excellent team for this year, and I imagine we'll do quite well.

RC: How good is "quite well?"
WW: Well, we'll contend for the title in the Premiership and we will qualify for the Champion's League.

RC: That's quite the statement, how do you feel your new signings will impact your goals?
WW: Well, obviously having Pique at the back with Mancienne and Hall is going to be a big plus, he'll give us the height we need in the box at both ends of the pitch. He's a brilliant tackler and he'll help us out greatly. We made a lot of signings in the midfield, and they will certainly make a difference, Gourcuff, Pranjic, and Routledge have all put in time in the first team, and they've been extremely good. Routledge has fit perfectly in the squad, he and Dani Parejo are splitting time on the right side of the midfield and nothing bad can come from this. Pranjic and Gourcuff have taken a bit longer to fit in. Pranjic has had a bit of trouble getting service, but that has more to do with our backline than him. Gourcuff seems to be having some trouble fitting in, he and Adel Taarabt haven't worked well together yet, despite the fact that they're both French. Up top, Kenwyne Jones has been great, albeit somewhat anonymous, despite scoring several key goals for us.

Routledge

RC: There seems to be some issues with the continuity in your play as a team, do you have anything to say about this?
WW: Well there are, though we are working extremely hard to eliminate them. I think it all starts at the back, the defenders are connecting well with the midfield, and I think a lot of the problem has to do with the fact that there is a lot less midfield space in the Premier League, and as a result Taarabt and Gourcuff have failed to work well together. This opens things up on the wings though, and this is where we've made our money. However, unlike in the Championship, our strikers haven't been our primary creative influences in attack, Agyemang, Jones, and Dembele have had a tough time in holding onto the ball and creating the attack, but they are finishing their chances and we are winning none the less.

Taarabt

RC: You won a lot of games last year in the Premier League, you reportedly recieved several offers from other clubs, care to comment?
WW: Yes, I did reieve a few offers from other clubs, though I won't say which, but they were all quite good. Like I said to those teams, I signed a three year contract with the R's, and I intend to see it out in its entirety. I have a three year plan with the Rangers, and its admittedly quite ambitious, I achieved my year one goal of promotion to the Premier League, as for year two, I hope to qualify for the Champion's League and win a domestice cup, and in year three, we'll win the Champion's League, as well as the Premier League, and maybe even a domestic cup, or both, and in doing so, I'll prove to the world what I already know: that I am the best manager in Europe.

RC: Wow, that's quite a statement, do you truly believe it?
WW: Of course.

Wessecito is truly one of the most colorful characters in football at the moment, and with his charisma and confidence, it makes it very difficult to think that he and the Queens Park Rangers won't achieve their goals.
