Venue: Feijenoord Stadion

Aissati Double Helps Ajax Win Against Feyenoord

Aissati Rises To The Opportunity Twice As He Helps Ajax Defeat Rival Feyenoord

The Klassieker came to the Eredivisie once again as the bi-annual Rivalry between the two sides came to Feyenoords Feijenoord Stadion. With an almost full-house and many more sitting in front of the televison set, Ajax and Feyenoord were ready to make this night another to remember. With Ajax unbeaten while Feyenoord struggling in 5th, both teams were after more points to get them closer to the final prize.

It all must have been dejavu in the first few minutes as Feyenoord were the first to threaten the Ajax defense as Tomasson pull through against the defense and get a shot away, but was saved just in time by Stekelenburg. Almost 11 minutes later, Ajax struck back, this time with full effect as veteran stiker Ruud van Nistelrooy found the back of the net after a cross from Schilder. Van Nistelrooy quickly controlled the cross and sent it just under Timmer, giving Ajax the lead in 18 minutes. The 25th minute brough along another chance for Ajax, this time from midfielder Sno, who took a chance from afar, just tempting Timmer as it went sailing over the bar. Van Nistelrooy tried again in the 32nd minute, but to no effect as the ball went toward the wrong side of the post. Feyenoord finally broke into the scoreline just 2 minutes after as Roy Makaay made a bave attempt as he headered a chance created by De Jong, levling in the 34th minute. Just as the half was done, Feyenoord left with the final chance after Oleguer brought down van Bronckhorst. Tommasson was to take the free-kick, but just missed his oppertunity as it went just over the crossbar.

Half-time brough only a single substitution to Ajax as Sulejmani was substituted off as Brazilian Leonardo came on. Leonardo quickly went to work, making the first cross of te half in the 51st minute, in which van Nistelrooy almost got a shot out. 3 minutes later, Leonardo went for goal as he came down the right, but his shot was poorly taken as it was blasted well wide of goal. 3 minute later Aissati was given room after a magnificant 1-2 with Suarez. Aissati immediatley took the chance with a shot just outside the area, and found the corner, and then the back of the net, giving Ajax the lead in the 57th minute. 3 minutes later Aissati struck again, this time from close range as van Nistelrooy gave way for Aissati. Quickly catching up to the ball, Aissati went left and beat Timmer again, scoring the double. The 79th minute saw De Guzman off as Bruins came on. Aissati created yet another chance in the 83rd minute after Vlaar brough down Suarez. Aissati took the free-kick, curling it against the wall, but just falling short of goal. 2 minute later Sno made a thunderous attempt with a shot that could only rattle the goal structure. Ajax almost finished with 3 goals ahead after van Nistelrooy made a wild attempt at a tight angle, only just clipping the corner.

Final Score
Feyenoord 1-3 Ajax
18' van Nistelrooy
34' Makaay
57' Aissati
60' Aissati

Who Will Leave First?

Sniejder, Robben, and van der Vaart; All 3 Dutchman Are Being Targeted By Many

As the window opens, rumors fly into the air, but the first concerns the turmoil in the midfield. Wesley Sneijder, Arjen Robben, and Rafeal van der Vaart have all been part of Real Madrid's plan, that is until Florintino Perez took over. As a result, all 3 midfielders postitions were put in jepordy as Cristiano Ronaldo and Ricardo Kaka came to the Bernabeu. Now, Real Madrid takes action by trying to get rid of 3 very BIG players, starting with Rafael van der Vaart who has been put up for sale. Who will leave first? Time will only tell.

Jovetic and Dabo Both Seem Eager To Leave Italy and Go Elsewhere

Stevan Jovetic and Ousmane Dabo both from different club in the Italian Serie A, but have set their eyes elsewhere as Fiorentina is looking to sell Jovetic, while Lazio have put Dabo on loan, with a possible permanent signing at the end of the season. The Montenegrin midfielder came to Fiorentina at 18-years old, but after just one season Jovetic seems likely to leave to the Bundesliga or to the Premiership, with multiple clubs interested in the youngster.

Brown, Kafes, and Delgado Could Move Away Cheap

As many clubs will look for quality players, they might want to look at a few older (and not so old) players. Scott Brown at Celtic has been recently linked with Everton as well as with Newcastle. Both clubs, if they choose, could sign him with only a €5,000,000 to pay up. AEK Athens will also put Pantelis Kafes up for sale after a fall-out with Dušan Bajević at the training field. A fee of €1,000,000 seems worth it. Beşiktaş J.K. seem eager to sell Argentine playmaker Matias Delgado for a €7,500,000 fee to his name. The 27-year old could spark interest in smaller Premiership clubs, as well as in the Spanish Liga.

Young Starters Could Also Make Headlines In The Papers

Atletico Madrid and Arsenal F.C. will also sell future talents to anyone, well almost anyone. Atletico Madrid's Ruben Ramos has been put on sale as the increase in wages for Sergio 'El Kun' Agureo, along with Diego Forlan, and Simao have left the Spanish youngster no choice but to leave and see if he could find a better chance of playing elsewhere.

Nicklas Bendtner is also on sale as Arsene Wegner and the young Danish striker could not agree on a contract extension, while other clubs in the Premiership and in Italy are interested in the youngster. Bendter will not come cheap with almost €10,000,000 to his name.

Palacios, Botinelli, De Rosario, and Henrique are all new targets for many clubs

The Americas have been looked at for fresh talent for many years, and this year is no exception. Boca Juniors' Rodrigo Palacios has been put on sale after a talk with the club, stating he would love a chance to play in Europe. The fee could vary, depending on the club.

Atlas F.C. have also put playmaker Dario Botinelli on sale, after many clubs contacted the Mexican club about the possible transfer of the player. Atals said that it was inevitable that he would leave, but didn't think that it would be so soon.

The Canadian midfielder Dwayne De Rosario has also been put on sale by Houston Dynamo. Other MLS clubs seem eager to capture the well season player, but clubs in England also seem eager to get the services of the Canadian.

FC Barcelona had just received Henrique back from loan at Bayer Leverkusen, and suddenly have put the defender on sale. The Brazilian was shocked to hear the news, but stated that he "will look elsewhere for a chance". Many believe that he could return to Germany, quite possibly Werder Bremen, but time will only tell.

Great win Morin. I'd say try to get either Sneijder or Van der Vaart first seeing as both used to play for Ajax but I doubt you've got enough cash

Well, Robben and Sneijder are not for sale, but VDV is.
As for Ruben Ramos, I'm considering him...

Gabri Is Expected To Leave Ajax

Gabri, although celebrating here, could be celebrating somewhere else this year

Gabriel Garcia de la Torre, or Gabri as many know him, is set to leave the Amsterdam ArenA in search for more playing time. Gabri expressed his concern about not appearing on the squad earlier this year, but now the Spanish midfielder has decided to leave Ajax. Many clubs have started to contact Ajax about a possible transfer for the Spanish midfielder, especially Heerenveen, who is still a bit dented about loosing Roy Beerens to Ajax.

Kennedy Bakircioglü is another veteran that is expected to leave Ajax in the transfer window after seeing minimal playtime. With the arrival of Beerens, it is clear that Martin Jol has no more room to put the 28-year old Swedish midfielder. If many clubs choose to go for the Swedish midfielder, he will come cheap, with only a €2,000,000 fee attached to him. Even so, Ajax is open for negotiations if other clubs choose to go lower.

Berg or Kramer? - Ajax seem to be interested in both strikers.

Marcus Berg, Swedish international, has expressed his desire to leave for bigger clubs, and the first tracking the 22-year old. Earlier in the season, Martin Jol threw away such reports that Ajax were interested in Marcus Berg, but now, Jol and Danny Blind seem that he could be a good replacement when Ruud van Nistelrooy leaves at the end of the year.

Ajax is not only looking at Berg, but also at Michiel Kramer, NAC Breda striker who scored a brace earlier in the season against Ajax. The 21-year old has impressed NAC Bred recently, being in the Top 10 strikers of the season so far. Michiel Kramer could be a return to Dutch strikers in Ajax, as the Amsterdamers only have van Nistelrooy at the moment as they lost Klaas-Jan Huntelaar a year ago to Real Madrid.

Venue: Stadion Galgenwaard

Ajax Slip By Utrecht In Final Minutes

Ajax Celebrate Aissati's leveler Against Utrecht

The transfer window was well under way, and many thought the big clubs in the Eredivisie might slip their form as many players were being watched. If that was the case, Ajax would lose their unbeaten form to rivals at Utrecht, but the Amsterdamers were sure they would not fall.

All was well, but that worried feeling about losing players gave Utrecht the first goal. Van der Gun was brought down just outside the area by Rajkovic. Mertens took the kick, but didn't go for goal as he crossed it in. Just as it seemed that the ball was going to go untouched, George got a touch on it and beat Stekelenburg in 16 minutes. 2 minutes later, Utrecht were at it again as Skoubo took a chance at goal, but just missed the crossbar. Gleguer found a chance to score in the 29th minute after van der Gun sent in another chance, but completely missed the goal. Ajax finally got a chance at goal 7 minute before half-time came. van Nistelrooy gave Suarez space to run into instead of taking on the defenders. Suarez took the ball up to goal and beat Vorm to level just in time.

Half-time brought no subtitutions as both team returned to the field. Aissati got the first chance of the half just 3 minutes after the restart when he was tripped by Asare outside the area. Aissati went for goal, curling the ball into the right corner, but only just missing the goal. Utrecht got back on top as Skoubo scored in the 60th minute due to bad defedning, beating Stekelenburg from long range. Just 3 minutes after the restart, Ajax leveled once again, this time thanks to Aissati. Van Nistelrooy had tried to break through the defense, but was unsuccessful. Luckly, Aissati recovered the ball and took a chance outside the box to level. The 82nd minute saw Beerens of as Martina made his Ajax debut. 4 minutes later, Martina helped van Nistelrooy to a chance, but the veterans' aim was off as he missed the goal, sending the ball into the stands. Just before half-time, van Nistelrooy was brought down, a few yards out, giving Ajax the final chance of the game. Aissati put the weight on his shoulders as the rest went forward. Aissati sent it just over the wall, until it dipped on the keeper. Aissati finshed the game with a double, scoring in the final minutes. Just as the second came to a close, Sno made an attempt from afar, just testing the keeper as it rolled out.

Final Score
Utrecht 2-3 Ajax
16' George
38' Suarez
60' Skoubo
63' Aissati
89' Aissati

Hello again, and welcome to Football-Spy on this morning as we bring you the latest updates in terms of transfers from around the world.

Now, I want to start off with a story you all have all read by now in the papers or on the television.

Luis Antonio Valencia has departed from his club Wigan Athletic, but not to Manchester United, like many believed during the summer transfer window. Blackburn Rovers was his destination all along, a move a lot of you, and even us here at the Mirror did not expect. Did Man. Utd miss out? Give us your thoughts.

Now many of you were asking if Henrique of Barcelona, who had just returned from a loan spell with Leverkusen, was going to leave the Catalan club or stay. Well, we have some news as Bacrelona's own Joan Laporta has stated that Henrique has been sold to Portuguese club S.L. Benfica. Henrique does not come to the Estadio da Luz Cup tied, meaning Benfica can use him in the upcoming stages of the Champions League. Now, here at the Mirror, we though Henrique was going to stay, but it seems that Barcelona was not keen on keeping the Brazilian defender. What do you think? give us your thoughts at spy@mirror.co.uk

Now, many of you might not have seen this coming, but you Milan might have something to worry about as A.C. Milan has allowed Christian Abbiati to sign for Belgian club Standard de Liege for around £3,000,000. I'm telling you that Milan fans have something to worry about because now they will play Brazilian Dida, who has not found his form as of yet, unless they look for another good keeper.

Well, we've seen a lot of moves from the Americas to Europe, but this one seems the opposite as AEK Athens midfielder Pantelis Kafes has joined Argentinane club River Plate and signed a 3 year contract. Many at the club are worried that it could be a bad move, but Kafes assures that he is there to play football, not make magic. We shall see.

Francisco Chica has completed a move from Espanyol to Racing Club as Racing payed £2,000,000 to Espanyol. Chica was actually linked with several clubs in the Premiership, especialy Boro, but Racing Club was quick to put in a bid while Boro chose to wait.

We have recieved word that earlier today Ajax made a bid for 2 different players, a midfielder and a defender

The first we will talk about is Boca Juniors striker Rodrigo Palacio, who was put up for sale just a few days ago. The Amsterdam club have sent a bid of €2,000,000 to the Argentinan club for his services. Now, many here at the Mirror are wonder were he would play if he would sign. Sulejmani and Suarez play on the wings, while veteran van Nistelrooy plays solo, up front. Roy Beerens and Leonardo take the wings as replacements, and recently Martina has taken the right wing as well. Even so, Palacio's goals record is not bad, scoring 53 in 126 for Boca, but has been in a bit of a drought for Boca. Palacio has also not been selected for the national team as of late, but his work in Europe with Ajax could help his chances with Maradona.

Palacio is not the only target for Ajax as of late. Rosenborg's Vadim Demidov, Norwegian full back, who was actually born in the former Soviet Union, has caught the attention of Martin Jol. Another defender has been a long-time target for Ajax, as Thomas Vermaelen seems eager to leave to the Premiership. The probelm is Rosenborg has stated that they do not have enough defender in the back, which could raise a problem or even the price for Ajax.

Before we go any further, Ajax have already sold to raise funds as Spanish forward Gabri has gone to Heerenveen, actually were Roy Beerens was at before transfering to Ajax. Gabri stated his reason for leaving the club was becasue there was not enough playing time.

As many of you know, Real Madrid are keen on selling Dutch players Arjen Robben, Wesley Sneijder, and Rafael van der Vaart after selling Dutch striker Ruud van Nistelrooy earlier this season. The problem is that now Real Madrid are saying that Sneijder is to stay, as the rest of his fellow teammates will be sold, or should be sold by the end of the year. This could cause some problems in the back with Real Madrid, as it seems that Sneijder wants to stay, put also want to play, as his space was given to newcomer Kaka, and now see's more of the bench, as well as the reserve bench. Meanwhile, Chelsea, Valencia, and shockingly PSV, Ajax's rival, are all keen to sign him.

That is all we have time for but keep sending your messages and video responses here on Youtube, on the blog, or send us your message at spy@mirror.co.uk. Have a great day!

Ajax Grab Another Win Against De Graafschap

Emanuelson and Sulejmani Celebrate A Goal That Would Prove A Turning Point

The second Matchday during the transfer window came to the Amsterdam ArenA as Ajax prepared to host De Graafschap as both teams continued their journey for gold. Ajax had been winning non-stop after their draw with NAC Breda, oh so many Matchdays ago. De Graafschap were struggling to move up as they continued a steady pace in the middle of the table.

Deja vu seemed the order of the day as Ajax conceded the first goal, just as they conceded the first goal while facing Utrecht. Almost a minute a part, den Ouden scored the opener for De Graafschap after a cross from Meijder made it into the box. The ball bounced slopply into the area, and den Ouden didn't pass the oppertunity to tap the ball in and give De Graafschap the lead in 17 minutes. Ajax almost immediately as Cvitanch almost scored from a solo effort a minute later, but just missed the goal. The 23rd minute, Cvitanich had better luck as the shot was on target, but was punched away as the keeper pushed it away. The corner was taken, but slopply cleared. Just then, Emmanuelson appeared in front of the ball and took a daring chance. The oppertunity could not have been taken any better as Emanuelson leveled, giving a 1-1 scoreline to both parties. 6 minutes later, Suarez found the oppertunity to cross in a chance after taking on Volmer and Meijder on the left wing. The Uruguain crossed it in, and who better to connect than the other winger, Serbian Sulejmani as he volleyed in the cross into the net, giving Ajax the lead. Just as the half was over, Suarez found a chance for himself after a crossed ball from Aissati, but was put just over the crossbar.

Half-time came and went with no substitutions. Aissati took the first shot of the half with a long range effort that was just cut short by the crossbar. Lindgren tried his luck 4 minutes later as well, but a horrible shot didn't even test the keeper as it sailed well into the crowd. A minute later, den Ouden tried his luck to level after Fung a Wing put in a cross, but den Ouden's shot could only hit the outside netting. The 58th minutes brought disaster. 4 minutes after a great cross in, Fung a Wing scored an own goal after the keeper tried to save Sulejmani's thunderous shot, only to be chested down into goal by his own defender. 6 minutes later, Aissati received a free-kick after being brought down by Fung a Wing, and although pretty close to goal, the ball still missed the goal. 3 minute later, Suarez tried his luck again, but was denied by Terol. The 87th minute brought another chance for Aissati, but his effort missed again after deflecting off the post. The 90th minute held a final chance for Cvitanich after an amazing curve toward goal, in which Terol got a hand to for a corner kick. Sulejmani quickly sent the ball in, and Cvitanich connected with a header, finding the back of the net and giving Ajax a 3 goal lead

Final Score
Ajax 4-1 De Graafschap
17' den Ouden
24' Emanuelson
30' Sulejmani
58' Fung a Wing(OG)
