The first 15 minutes of the game brought nothing with both teams just battling it out in midfield , but when 15 minutes did arrive Cavenaghi receive a great cross smashed it first time only to hit the post. After that the game heated up a bit with Cahill winning the ball beating a player then sending a lovely through ball to Yakubu who used his weaker left-foot but still produced a fine finish to put Everton in the lead. Yakubu showed his speed by beating a player shearly by pace when he got one on one he failed to hit his shot on target even though it was his preferred foot after the Pienaar beat to player took his shot well but the keeper saved it and it went out for a corner that Arteta wasted. Cahill beats 2 then passes to Yakubu who make a great turn taking 3 men out of the game then slots one past the keeper, 2-0 to Everton. Cavenaghi made a run tearing Everton defense to shreds but when he got his shot away it failed to hit the target and hit the post. Vaughan get to the edge of the box barges past the defender and hits one with power and accuracy to make it 3-0.Yobo was about to tackle Cavenaghi but he slipped just before the challenge, making him miss and Cavenaghi uses the mistake to his advantage and charges forward to score. Jacobson made a run down the wing and crossed into the box which was cleared right out to Cahill who volleyed well into the top right corner , 4-1 to Everton. Jussie collected a cross with his foot then flicked it up for himself to score an amazing volley. Yobo picked up the ball on the right-hand side of the pitch then made a run down the wing cut inside and hit one with the outside of his right foot to get Everton there fifth and final goal of the match. With Minutes to go Gouffran cut inside and slotted one past Howard to make the final score 5-3.

Bordeaux - Everton
2-Assist-3
10-shots-19
6-on target-8

Everton announced today that they have signed both Chris Eagles and Angel Rangel we intervied David Moyes
Reporter
David
Hi David, Chris Eagles ahs played on-loan and for many teams what attracted you to him?
Well i chose him because i got several recommendations for him and I've seen him play a few teams and every time he has been at his best and has been great.
You have also signed Angel Rangers , not many have heard about him why did you sign him?
I
got recommended him as well but i've watched him a few times and he has been great the way he moved forward and also defended.
You failed to sign Jaoa Moutinho ,have you bidded again?
Yes i have because he is a great center-mid and Sporting only wanted a bit more for him and that's what i offered.
Thanks for your time , David
It was my pleasure.
