DISASTER FOR ANDERSON

After the bust-up with team-mate, Dexter Blackstock, the Liverpool winger on loan to Nottingham Forest, Paul Anderson has been given terrible news this morning.
Blackstock had kicked Anderson in the head and scans have showed that he has fractured his skull. He will have to wear protective head gear (pictured below) like Petr Cech does until 2011.

Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech also done the same thing a couple of years ago and it is still recovering, “I was heartbroken when I heard the news about me. You would think it would be the end. A broken skull = A broken life. But no, I’ll be fine in a few years. It doesn’t tamper with your life either, nor football. I wish Paul Anderson the best of luck for the future. I know what he is going through. Paul, it’s going to be OK.”

Paul Anderson, “Petr’s words really moved me. He phoned me when the news broke on Sky Sports News and told me more or less that it’s not all bad. We’re going out on Friday night for Fernando’s (Torres) stag do wearing our protective head gear. It isn’t all bad. (Laughs). Petr is already a better friend than Dexter. I know he was drunk but I don’t care, I can’t believe he did this to me.”

Dr Robbie Stevenson, “Paul has been x-rayed and scanned throughout the night and myself, Dr Jackson and Dr Eamer have found a fracture in the north-east part of the skull. He will be fully fit in 2 years but will have to wear protective head gear while playing football till 2011.”
