![]() Matchday 2 ![]() Venue: Stadio Cino e Lillo Del Duca ![]() Final Score 3-4 36' Falco---------------------------------9' Leon 81' Soncin------------------------56' D'Alessandro 83' Sommese--------------------------67' Paloschi -----------------------------------88' C. Lucarelli Seven Goal Thriller Ends In Parma's Hands ![]() C. Lucarelli Reacts To His Last Minute Goal That Gave Parma The Win The second Matchday of the Serie B season put Parma F.C. and Ascoli Calcio on the same pitch as Ascoli went looking for their first point, while Parma went looking for 3 more after beating Albinoleffe in the first matchday. The game was one to remember as 7 goals hit the back of the net. Zenoni's 4th minute shot almost created the first chance, but the defender sent it wide. The game was finally opended up by Leon after beating the defence and shooting it, only to be temorarily stoped by the keeper. The ball was still in play and the Hondoran went for another shot, beating the keeper and giving Parma the ifrst of the night in 9 minutes. C. Lucarelli went for his chance 10 minutes later, but was deneid by the keeper. Ascoli finally leveled after 36 minutes when a defencive error gave way to Falco who beat Pegolo. The second half broug on Reginaldo and D'Alessandro on as Pisanu and Leon, the author of the goal, were brought off. 53 minutes gone and Parma created another chance as Reginaldo missed his chance, but when the ball was sent back in 3 minutes later, D'Alessandro found the back of the net and gave Parma the lead. Paloschi was then brought down in the box in the 67th and was awarded a penalty, which he took and scored from, giving Parma a 2 goal lead. Ascoli were not done however as Soncin found a chance to score in the 81st minute to close the gap on Parma. Budel was then signaled aff as Mariga came on. Just then Soncin was brought down in the box and was awarded a penalty, but ultimatly missed against Pegolo who saved the shot. The save was short lived as the corner found the head of Sommese in the 83rd minute in order to level with 7 minutes to go. 88 minutes gone and 2 left gave fire to Parma as D'Alessandro sent a cross towards C. Lucarelli. The Italian striker chested the ball down and advanced forward, beating the defence in every turn. Finally alone with the keeper, Lucarelli went for a bold move as he took him head on, but a last minute right turn and shot was enought to beat the keepr and ultimatly give Parma the win Livorno Fall as Vicenza Rise ![]() Vicenza's Fernando Forestieri Helps Vicenza Prematurly Rise to the Top Of The Table Livorno fell from the lead spot as they were unable to take a point against Rimini, all the while Vicenza beat Grosseto 2-0. Brescia also only took a point in a goalless draw against Empoli. Albinoleffe finally got 3 point after a win against Pisa, while Ancona, Bari, and Triestina all won 3 points against Mantova(2-0), Salernitana(1-0), and Sassoulo(3-0). Avelino drew with Treviso, while Piacenza held Modena in a 2-2 draw. More point in the 3's and less draw is what we should be seing. Vicenza and Parma keep the Serie B beat, but Livorna and Brescia should recover from their draws. All clubs should now have a point at least, but the competition will become much more intense, making those goalscorers key in their promotion or relegation battle.

![]() Parma F.C. News Carlinhos, First Real Signing Of Parma ![]() Carlos Andrade Souza, also known as 'Carlinhos', has finaly signed for Parma F.C. The Brazilian defender signed with Italian club Parma F.C. early this morning as the Italian club paid Brazilian club Cruzeiro €3,000,000 for his services. Carlinhos wished to retain his number '37' as his permanent number, but was not presented to the press. Francesco Guidolin stated that they want "Carlinhos prepared for the next game as a possible substitution". ![]() Daniele Paponi has been recalled to Parma F.C. from his loan from Rimini in order to keep enough strikers in case one of their starting three are injured. "We have to take all the precautions in case something happens. Paponi is sure to play, and this way we don't have to spend more on another striker". Paponi played with Parma F.C. in the season they were relegated to the Serie B last year. ![]() Parma F.C. will also be looking into their youth system in order to bring youth players into their senior squad, particularly a young Italian striker and a 16 year old Austrian midfielder. Word is that one might be chosen earlier than the other.

![]() Matchday 3 ![]() Final Score 2-0 49', 68' Lupoli--------------------------------- Venue: Stadio Ennio Tardini The Perfect Homecomming ![]() Lupoli Celebrates His First Goal With Parma With C. Lucarelli out due to fatigue, Arturo Lupoli had the chance of starting the the starting 11 for Parma on the 3rd Matchday of the season. Lupoli started the match well, opening the match with the first strike in the 6th minute, but was deneid by the keeper. 2 minutes later D'Alessandro tried his luck, but sent the ball over the bar. Lupoli seemed determined to score as he took chances in the 25th, 30th, and 42nd minute, but were all in vain as each one was denied or sent over.
Parma began the second half with a change as Budel came of for Mariga. 4 minutes later, Lupoli found the net after a cross from Pisanu on the right wing. Lupoli volleyed in the cross to give Parma the first goal of the game. Lupoli struck again in the 68th minute after a magnificant run around the defence and striking the ball into the right corner. Lupoli went for the hat-trick in the 81st minute, but was denied by the keeper once again. Pisanu was then substituted out for Manzoni, who then had the final shot of the match in the 90th minute, but sent it well wide. Parma At the Top On Goal Difference ![]() Parma F.C. went to the top of the table, thanks to a double by Lupoli. Leading club Vicenza could only find the net once against Treviso, giving Parma the lead by goal difference. Empoli and Rimini could only draw as Bari defeated Livorno on a 2-1 scoreline. Albinoleffe drew to Frosinone in the final minutes, while Brescia picked up three points over Mantova. Pisa beat Ascoli in a 2-1 game as Ancona picked up 3 point against Grosseto. Cittadella surprisingly defated Avellino 3-0, while Salernitana ended a 5 goal game with 3 points on their side after defeating Pianeza. Sassoulo beat Modena 1-0, picking up 3 points themselves.
