Chelsea Announce 4 Game Pre-Season Tour of Holland

Chelsea FC have announced a 4 game pre-season tour of Holland. On their website today they announced a friendly tournament that will be taking place in the Netherlands going head to head with four of Holland's best.

The 4 other teams to compete in the friendly tournament Ajax, PSV Eindhoven, Feyenoord, and FC Twente.

Chelsea's hardest competition will most likely come from last year's Dutch Eredivisie champions PSV. Ajax will be just as tough a test finishing only 3 points behind PSV last season with Klaas-Jan Huntelaar taking #1 goal scorer with 33 goals last year and Luis Saurez taking 3rd with 17 goals.

Luis Felipe Scolari, newly appointed Chelsea boss commented saying, " I agreed with the Board and several officials from the Netherlands on this friendly tournament because it will be a very good pre-season test of our players, I hope to have fun as well while traveling through Holland."

The schedule for Chelsea first pits them against last year's champions PSV Eindhoven, then Ajax last year's runner up, then Feyenoord which is the team Salomon Kalou came from, and The Blues finilalalala off against FC Twente.

Chelsea Sign 3 Promising Reserves

In other news concerning the Blues, Chelsea FC have signed 3 reserves to their squad. Michael Mancienne, England U21 has been brought to the first team, Miroslav Stoch a promising second striker or winger, and Gael Kakuta who ended last season in the reserves with 12 goals in 20+4 appearances which was a team leading number of goals, who is a attacking midfielder or winger. These players may see action some friendly matches but it is expected Scolari will choose to loan out all three.
