Mr Scotland: Tottenhams Foray In The Transfer Market

(Scotland and Rangers Captain Barry Ferguson)

Tottenham Hotspur Football Club have officially announced the signing of Scotland and Rangers captain, Barry Ferguson on a two year contract. The fee payed is believed to be in the region of 2.5 million pounds, and the Scottish midfielder was reported to have landed in North London three hours ago.

Gus Hiddink spoke of the signing on Spurs.Com, and he announced that Barry would be a key part of his campaign. Barry is believed to have left Rangers on good terms, choosing to head to England for the last spell of his career.

Rangers manager Walter Smith spoke to reporters in Glasgow after the news was broke, and he said that Barry would always be remembered at Rangers but it was time for a change.

(Saying Goodbye: Rangers Manager Walter Smith)

"It's a real shame to say goodbye to Barry, he has been a massive part of the club but it is time for a fresh start, for him and the club.

"We we're made aware of Tottenham's interest in signing him, and he was reluctant at first but then he decided that he would like one last blast in England before he winds up his career.

"He is a talented player and will be missed, but his departure allows me to promote two great young players in the form of Steven Davis and Kevin Thomson, who will carry on with his legacy in midfield.

"He leaves on good terms with the blessing of the board, and more importantly the fans. Fans are so important to Barry, and they are just happy to see him get a last run in England, so there are no bad feelings at all.

"We wish him luck in England, and look forward to seeing him return to Ibrox in some shape or form in a few years.
".

Ferguson has a massive reputation in Scotland, captaining the national team and being the only currently playing person to be in the Glasgow Rangers hall of fame.

(Mr Rangers: Barry or "Bazza"Ferguson is known for keeping a close relationship with fans)

Ferguson has always been known as a player who enjoys endearing himself to the fans, and he will seek to establish a bond with the Spurs faithful immediately.

SpursTV have announced that an exclusive interview with Ferguson will be held in about an hours time, and Tottenham fans will be eager to hear the words of their latest signing.

Just so everyone knows, I've changed the formation, Modric has pushed up into a CAM position.

sorry about the next result, also it's a kind of box score, so no OneHotspur results will be given, and with the result of the match I lowered the level of game-play since I've been having trouble even drawing.

Ok this thread is going to be going on hold since I''ve decided to take a break from MMs, Osgood is fine with this, as some of you know I just quit my last MM so this is my only MM and as I said it will be on hold. My break I don't know how long will last, it could last 3 days or 3 months but I'll annouce my return with my new MM (This we continue also). Please remember I have been doing MMs non-stop since I joined. I'll still be veiwing everyones threads, I'll just not be running a MM.
